and i want to win soo bad. if not me, then at least someone on here to tell us how it goes. ive got loads of ideas i want to give to sony about home, i just hope i get the chance.
im really torn again as wether to get a 360 or keep my preorder for a ps3.
(from here on out i am talking to myself, not anyone in particular)
i could probably get a 360 at the weekend, seeing as i have enough for a ps3 right now. the only game im really looking forward to is MGS4. i wonder are there any games that could match MGS4 on the 360? oh ofcourse, halo. so the best game im lookin forward to is mgs4, and to be honest, 425 is a wee bit too much for a games console. but its not just a games console is it? i can play BD movies (though i dont have an HD TV). can i download songs etc. onto my 360 from a removable disc? and how much better is LIVE? i dont mind paying the fee, (my fanboy side says- o my i would never pay that!) but a fiver a month doesnt seem too bad. online play is important to me. and i like the idea of achievments. does anyone have any pictures of the 360s "dashboard"? i have a psp and is the connectivity between psp-ps3 any good? and what, most importantly, of the games? is anyone hyping any AAA games? no that motorstorm has been reviewed, are there anyother AAA looking games on ps3 or 360?
i could do one of four things. (although not so keen on the last one)
thanks for all help in advance.
i opened the letter, and saw the spiderman font... yes! i can preorder spiderman on blu ray! no wait, its my ps3.
so i got 3 nice little things in the letter

[QUOTE="Tulak_Hord"][QUOTE="Puckhog04"][QUOTE="Telekill"][QUOTE="Puckhog04"][QUOTE="Telekill"]Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but achievement points are for those that want to further their game experience by doing extra side missions or tasks correct? So, if a gamer, such as myself, simply wants to play the game for fun instead of getting overly frustraited with a game trying to do near impossible achievements, we dont have too right? Now... if PS3 started something similar to achievement points, would I be upset? No. It's just something extra to throw in for those that would use it. Would they be called thieves by people here on the boards? Yes, but all the game companies are thieves of one-another. It's what makes it so competitive, and in the end, the gamers are the winners because of it.amcallister902
Believe it or not, most (half with alot of games) of the achievements are achieved just by playing through single player. It's not that any of them are near impossible...because they aren't. Although the "Get 10,000 kills in ranked matches" achievement in Gears of War is pretty insane to get. Most you really do get just by playing through single player.
Oh ok. Thanks for the clarification. From what I was understanding, I would have simply got annoyed with trying to get achievements. Some of them are very annoying to get. I got about 500/1000 achievement points simply by playing through Gears of War's Single player on Hardcore and Insane. It's relative by game but for the most part Single player gets you a good amount of the points. And then there's games like Enchanted Arms that have each boss in the game as 25 points or 75 points (there's alot of bosses), and that accounts for the full 1000 (other than just fnishing the game, which gets you 150). No problem though. Seeing PSN with a form of Achievement points would add some value IMO, making it tougher to decide between the Xbox 360 and PS3 version of a game.
oh i see. i hope they do use achievments.QUOTE]
and they shut down my post and gave me a warning. i cant beleive it. at all.
""From what I know, Killzone 2 could very well be the best looking console game, ever. Period. This was revealed to me by a Genji 2 producer back in September, citing the game’s visuals as even better than the original trailer.""
