@Aphyosemion @grnsuperman4 @SiLenTWarrior29

As a long time X-box user, it makes me very sad to say that I agree with you.

My one big question is for these games which are going to be put out for both current gen and next gen systems, are the players of the respective systems going to be able to play together? Meaning will Destiny players of 360 be able to play with 720 players? That answer will pretty much make my decision, personally.

@Thunderstarter Yeah that it incredibly expensive, particularly since some of the big AAA games (Destiny immediately comes to mind) are also going to be put out for the current gen.

@grnsuperman4 @tim1935 @telaros That would be the smart thing to do, but that would also require M$ to lose some money... which we all know is not going to happen.

I have to agree with Mr. Mc Shea on this one. So many people these days react quickly with anger, never giving the medium an honest reflection. I have been playing video games for many many years, most of them violent games such as God of War. For that reason, I think that developers should still have the ability to make those games if they so choose. However, such games should NOT be available to young people who may not be able to differentiate between some of the decisions which they are making in the game and those which they are faced with in the real world. I personally believe that this is where the major problem is, not with the presence of violence in the games.

If the actual violence were the issue, then most TV shows (Criminal Minds, American Horror Story, etc.) should be banned, as there are some very gruesome scenes in those shows. Until all forms of entertainment are examined for their contribution, video games should not be singled out, and that is why this bill will likely not go anywhere. However, enforcement of the ratings (not selling Mature games to minors) should be strictly enforced.

Keep up the good work Mr. Mc Shea

I'm with MagicJonsson... are they trying to bring in a RTS-type playstyle to this? or are they going for a ghost-recon type thing or what... I'm also confused.

The author of this article points out a good point, that L.A. Noir allowed you to skip action sequences if you failed too many times. I didn't hear anyone complaining about that feature. However, when she comes out any says that doing this exact same thing wouldn't be a bad idea, she gets torn apart... some things about this world I just will never understand
