The 360 is the best buy, unless you want a cheap bluray player to play movies, get a 360. It has the best exclusives and the multi-plats run better on it. Blue-ray is not needed this gen (mass effect proves this), and i don't know how its future is judging by its poor sales. And my 360 gets way moe play time than my ps3 and the 360 has good potential(dont let the cows tell you otherwise), and it just has the best games. Overall the ps3's graphic's are a little better(but bad framerates) but if you want games get a 360.bigevil_rashek

But I checked gamespot. The 360 has a bit better graphics. I don't want the ps3 because of the bluray player, but it might be better in the long run. I think I'd better go for a 360.

I have a question. Suppose I buy a Xbox game and buy the 360 premium console. Can I just plug it in and play it without altering anything? (I'm thinking about Halo 2 which Microsoft has on their compatibility list.)

Like the other guy said, 360 is better right now because of library.
Can you buy one now and get the other later?
EmilioDigsIt

Nope. Looking at only one here.

I wanna buy a console an I'm stuck between the 360 and PS3. Pros for the 360 - price, graphics, more games. Pros for PS3 - more processing power, might be better in the long run. What do you think, should I spend the extra and opt for a PS3 or buy a 360? Games are also a factor, as the 360 has more games and they maybe cheaper than the ps3 (as 360 games are dvds and ps3 games are blurays).

If you had only one console to buy, which one would it be?

Hi everybody. I'm a pc gaming fan but I've decided to buy a Xbox 360 console. Since I'm new, I first have some questions -

1) Is the hard drive only for storing games? Can you access it from a computer?

2) Can you play DVDs/CDs on your console?

3) Can you store DVD movies onto your hard drive (if they are not copy protected)?

4) How many people can play at one console at a time?

5) Is the internet connection necessary to play games locally?

6) Are all xbox360 games albosutely sure to run on te console (what i'm saying is that can there be any compatibility problems like it almost always when you try to play something on a pc)?

7) How do you hook up the console to a computer? Does Microsoft include a cable?

8)(ignore the emoticon) How does games appear on a low end LCD tv? Are they better than games on pc monitors?
