The site relies on the contributions of PC gamers to help keep the fix articles up to date - I hope more of the community join in to help create a better resource.
[QUOTE="andytizer8888"][QUOTE="Cherokee_Jack"] Oho, so you're involved. I was thinking, Giant Bomb has a pretty extensive gaming wiki already (with a big community), and they're now owned by CBS which puts a lot more resources at their disposal. If this Kickstarter doesn't work out, I wonder if there's some potential for collaboration there.Cherokee_Jack
There is potential for collaboration here. There are also other wikifarms, such as Curse, which are a good fit because they are more PC-centric. GiantBomb wikis mostly focus on game content rather than fixes. There is potential for them to have a 'fixes' subpage for each game, but there is a big danger of too much 'clutter' in the search results, and a lack of clear direction. PCGamingWiki is fairly pinpoint in not including game content at all, and is very much about the business of fixing games (and improvements like essential mods). This makes it much easier to find solutions to problems.
True.
I've sent Jeff G a question about PCGamingWiki and the possibility of having a section for fixes on GB, so hopefully he'll have some insight on that.
