This is almost exactly what I was about to say. For both consoles, you're probably only going to pay something like £40 anyway. I have them both and love them both. If you do end up with a DC, make sure one of the games you get is Shenmue. They're both pretty cheap, I'd say get both... But my first choice would be the Gamecube, a lot more games and you can still get a lot of them at places like Gamestop (I think).

For me, MGS3 takes the longest to get into, but in my opinion, has the strongest story of all of the MGS games.
If you found yourself relying on the radar system in the previous games, you'll find it frustrating at first but do persevere. It'll be worth it in the end.
Not sure if you'd count the art card edition of ICO as rare, but I don't see many copies in pristine condition around.
My mate has a original Japanese copy of Sin and Punishment on the Super Famicom which I know is really hard to find.
[QUOTE="ang12"]I played it up to Ravenholm and it was okay, but I don't get what all of the fuss was about. Maybe I need to play some more of the game.I'm also playing WoW but if you haven't played Half-Life 2 it is simply a must.

If you can't get into the story, then perhaps the game isn't for you.
Have you played the first Half-Life?
