A memory fragment from a former Summoner

I never told you that day,

how much I loved you and wished you wouldn't have faded away.

My life forever changed and I put my staff to rest,

picked up dual guns instead and hoped for the best.

I decided to become a hunter to escape the pain,

until I saw that sphere with your image standing outside in the rain.

It can't be you...or could it.....now I have to know,

I'll follow any leads, through the sands...or mountain top snow.

I have gotten close.....my heart does it's daily races,

We'll be together again....my words have called out through the ages.

A story telling from a S.E.E.S. club member

I always thought high school would be a blast,

I mean homework, boys...I didn't know things could change so fast.

I was out for a walk when the clock chimed midnight,

my eyes transfixed...blood...coffins....what a horrible sight.

I didn't understand.....as the darkness drew near,

"come Penthesilea," a voice said...devoid of fear.

A gun to her head as a being came forth,

"go my Persona, prove to me your worth."

A sudden chill as it froze the darkness,

is this even real...has my mind given in to madness?

"You have nothing more to fear, but we should go,"

what was that creature of darkness..."We call them Shadow."

"You have the potential".... is what she said to me,

I must vanquish shadows, and help set our home free?

A Passage from a S.T.A.R.S. operative diary

A handful of us headed to the mansion tonight,

horrible tales suggested we were in for a fright.

Chased through the woods by dogs possessed,

already my heart beating fast; filled with unrest.

Into the building; yet abyss sounds better to me,

for through the dining hall and pass the fireplace...a creature....a zombie?

The bullets from my gun pierced through its brain,

"what is going on, this is insane".

Retracing my steps..I find that I am now alone,

dear God help me....can I make it through this on my own?

"A Passage from an Elven Journal"

I was born an elf in nature's plan,

to a proud people, my lifeblood, my clan.

A wandering path was mine to follow,

learning the ways of the bow; interesting yet hollow.

Adventure is what my heart yearned for,

thoughts of battling darkspawn; standing near death's door.

Had I known this was to come having been spoken,

then maybe on the outskirts of Denerim, I would have been kinder to that Grey Warden.
