Just another day...

I need to upgrade my video card, memory and probably my processor to run EQ2 and/or any of the newest games. I have a celeron processor, which I have been told may not support the amount of memory I need to upgrade to.
The main problem that needs to be worked on is that I no longer have a task bar, start button or start menu. It just disappeared, I have to go through <control-alt-delete> to get to my task manager in order to shut down my pc or find any windows that I minimize. Very weird.

I haven't yet broken down and taken the pc in for work, so EQ2 is collecting dust on the shelf and I haven't bothered buying any other new games since they probably won't work either. I have been able continue playing Neverwinter Nights, not a new game but I am still enjoying it quite a bit. I would have finished this weekend but I had a karate tournament to attend. :)

The tournament was worth it, won first place in my division (team sparring) and got to hang out with Bill "Superfoot" Wallace.

grrrr...

I bought EQ2.. and can't play it. My computer decided to drive me crazy. Best Buy wanted to charge me 69 dollars and keep it for over a week just to run a diagnostic program (not happening) and CompUSA wanted $99 to check it out.

To shop or not to shop....

Decisions decisions decisions.... I could use my hard earned money to pay bills.... (boring!)

I could run out during lunch and buy Demon Stone.. or Bards Tale... or EQ2...

If I buy EQ2 do I get the cd version? or upgrade the pc and buy the DVD version? Is the collector's edition worth the extra cash??

Have heard some complaints about servers going down in EQ2, maybe I should wait a few weeks until it stabilizes more.

November 7 2004

Played EQ again... am I still the only one playing this game?? the zones where empty!

Logged into DAoC... no one here either. :)

November 5 2004

Finally got internet access again... was able to update patches for all my games. Logged onto EQ and DAoC both accounts still working and characters still wimpy. :)

Finished chapter one and almost done with chapte two of Neverwinter nights. (again!) Don't you hate it when you get almost finished with a great game (last section of the last chapter) and your PC crashes... after replacing the harddrive I now get the joy of reinstalling and re-playing all of my games.

Tried out Guildwars. Not bad, fighting seems cool so far. Not liking the camera views too much, would rather have a way to lock camera view in place so it doesn't go nuts everytime I move the mouse.
