Finally, the mgs classic will come on the psn avaliable for download for only $10!

Now if they do the same for: mgs 3 and the original metal gear 1 & 2- my life is complete!

Patrick Soderlund, senior VP of EA Games Europe, claims that the company's developers have "maxed out" the Xbox 360.

I like the Natal. It's an interesting device, so I'm truly impressed by Xbox. It's my personal favourite console," he told the Official Xbox Magazine. "I think Microsoft is on a roll right now. They're doing really well. If I was Sony, I would have a headache, to be honest."

He then goes on to talk about the PS3's potential, and whether more can be squeezed out of Xbox 360.

"Sony has a lot of good games this year. If you go to their [E3] booth, there's a very consistent, high quality product line-up and that will help them. I do think that we'll see developers inside the organisation getting to understand the PS3 better and I think that we're getting more power out of PS3 right now... I think that we've maxed out the 360 but we haven't maxed out the PS3."

Although project natel is a great peice of hardware,when it comes to pure gaming experiance ps3 has definatly got the advantage. Game developers are almostgetting the grips of making next-gen games that pushes consoles to the absolute pontential, meaning that many game developers will have pushed the x-box 360to limit very soon (i predict next year).

However, it is very likey that there will be a new model for the x-box 360 (hinted at the e3 confrence)- possibly at the end of this year. This console may match the power of ps3, but without blue-ray- it hasen't got a chance!

Unfortuantly, for somereason absolutly NO-ONE was able to get the whole of Koami press confrence video feed. Even the offical broadcaster wasn't able to do so! (so no video's unfortunatly)

Metal Gear Arcade

It has the "Tactical Online Action" kicker above the title. Metal Gear is coming to arcades in Japan first. This is a title with a special machine and interface. eKonami will be used to connect the machines together. The game will also be in 3D, if the player wears special goggles. A teaser trailer is also shown in a stormy scene from the kojima countdown teaser site.

Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker

A trailer is shown of snake is shown in a variety of different costumes and infiltration situations. He ties a rapidly inflating balloon to an unconscious soldier, who floats quickly into the sky. An unusual method of body disposal to be sure. The team behind Metal Gear Solid 4 is working on Peace Walker. Kojima explains that two people can go into the cardboard box this time. The main character is Naked Snake, set 10 years after MGS3 in 1974. It will be a true entry in the series. Peace Walker comes out in 2010.

Metal Gear Solid Rising

Kojima starts it with a trailer. There are drawings of demons and close-ups of the Raiden teaser image. It's primarily a stealth-action game, with Raiden as the main character. It is coming to the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

Kojima refers to his Game Developers Conference and the way US and Japanese developers test new technology. This is a test of the philosophy he expressed at the time, with the tech of the West and the design philosophy of the East. Konami has only took advantage of this technology in Metal Gear Solid 3 and it would be nice to see it done again on a next-gen platform.

The mask teaser site is in fact the game Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, which is coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2010Other games such as, Saw, Lords of Shadow and more was announced at the commence! To read about the full conference click here.

As annouced at Sony press confrence yesterday- another game mgs peacewalker will be on exclusive to the PSP! - the direct sequel to mgs3 (the biggest missing link of mgs franchise).This was annouced along side PSP Go! (e3's worst kept secret)

The game story line is mentioned in the teaser trailer. It also metions a unkown invader (possibly the mysterious mask which has been teased for a week now).

Metal GearSolid Rising was annouced yesterday at e3... on x-box 360!

It's been confirmed that the game will be about Raiden (unsupisingly) and will feature much of Sanke! A teaser trailer feturing Raiden was shown at e3microsoft confrence. Not much has been annouced about the game, but there is no reason to sugest that mgs will be exclusive to x-box.When it does come to x-box however, fetures like tradional loooong cutsecnes will not be able to be done on x-box, as it has no blu-ray compatiblity. This is just some of the probloms of coming to x-box. Hopefully more will be annouced at e3.

In addition to this- the teaser site has now been changed once again, but with no countdown (finally). The website does not feture much now, but is expected for more updates very soon!

On another note during e3, microsft has annouced a lot of exclusives, partnerships (sky, facebook and twiiter), 1080pupgradeand my fravioute- project natel (motion sensing)

Microsft is really giving both nintendo and sony a run for thier money- and they must be able to annouce something absolutly amazing today at e3

After the end of another countdown the countdown has RESET AGAIN!The image has now changed from a thunderstorm to a bight summer scenery. The website now only shows the number 8.It will end at 11:00 GMT today! Also the mask on the 2nd teaser site has changed cosidribaly!

On another note E3 will begin in under 20min, starting off with Microsoft press confrense.

1 day left for the end of the 3rd countdown of Konami totureous teaser site and nowa mysterious mask has been posted along with a picture of Raiden (which was already leacked 3 days back).

The teaser site now reads:

E, C, S (OR 5) , O, 3, e, P, R and 6 along withshots of Raiden and Big Boss

I would expect the lower case e and the number 3 will be for e3. The R would also probally stand for Raiden, and the 5 (could be a s) would stand for mgs5. It's hard to tell with the current clues, but all would be revealed at E3 (well hopefully)

The 3rd countdown should be complete at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, but we should expect more updates on both sites before then.

Considering E3 is fast approaching, I decided to clarify up some of rumours that have sparked up during the last few weeks.

Rumours of there being a new 120 GB playstation3 slim have come to light- along with some pictures of the console and some convincing pictures of the box. It is meant to be priced the same as the original surprisingly! Although the console itself looks fake (mainly because it looks UGLY), after a request to have it removed- it may be that this is actually a real concept of the PS3 slim (work in progress?). Production of the console however seems very unlikely.

The PS3 price cut rumour is being tossed up (AGAIN!). Not much new info on this, but it is said that it may be announced at E3, but doesn't seem promising. However it's very likely that it will happen before May 31st 2010. A price will really help PS3 get back into the lead.

According to many reliable websites, PSP will be redesigned and will ditch the UMD drive. This apparently will be the big announcement in E3 Sony press conference! According to 1up the new PSP will NOT have 2 analogue sticks, despite all the convincing concept pictures, however it will have a sliding screen. There have been many speculations of what the new PSP will be called, such as PSP 2, PSP 4000, PSP Slide, PSP Flip and PSP Go!

In addition to this, it is said that the new PSP will come in 2 models- 8GB and 16GB of inbuilt flash memory. The system is set for release in Japan this September with a U.S. debut coming in either late October or early November, with over 100 clas'sic and new PSP titles available for download at launch (Gran Thurismo Mobile being one of the premier titles). This will explain the fact why games such as Assassin Creed and Gran Thurismo mobile on the PSP has been kept in the dark and will also explain why half the games for the PSP hasn't even been announced yet!

I was away for a while, but considering the fact E3 is nearly here and along with more mgs news, I decided to start my blog again!

During the end of the 2nd countdown, which has now been reset, the site is now flashing a shot of Big Boss(above). The shot is very similar to MGS3, meaning it may be set before MGS1 once again. The new count down will end on 3 p.m. PDT on Sunday, May 31.

UPDATE: The countdown is now also showing a P and a R

In addition to this,several scans has been leaked showing that the countdown will eventually show Raiden (hinting the fact it may be set after mgs4). According to Kotaku blog, this may actually be Gray Fox. It is also rumored that 2 seprate games will be released! It may be that the game will be set in 2 parts, like mgs2, in 2 differnet times- one before mgs1 andone after mgs4. Strangely, the Kojima interview accompanying the shot has large sections redacted to hide the identity of the new game.

There are also more rumors about mgs4 on Xbox-360. Although I find this highly unlikely, it may be done to simply promote mgs5 and convince x-box owners to buy ps3.

More info about the new MGS would be annouced at Konami's press conference from 3-5pm on Wednesday, June 3 and the newcount down will end on 3 p.m. PDT on Sunday, May 31.

Finally a portable handheld system worth buying!!! They finally able to get 2 anologe sticks on the thing. Not only that, they got touch senstive screen!!!
