Err... Instead of smaller... use same size with another analog stick! Come on! They should focus on its core utility as a gaming device instead of pouting about media capabilities... I hope that the UMD improvements sharply reduce loading times... Though I doubt it will be enough... That silver version also looked like an odd color choice... The Star Wars one isn't worth it since the game seemed unexciting and choppy... Just for a Darth Vader pic on the back? Buy it and see yourself screaming 'NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!'
I actually was surprised how much the visuals changed compared to Ruby to the DS versions (I decided to move some pokemon in Ruby to Diamond especially my Gardevior... since Diamond lacks a good psychic type) I found myself disappointed that the game was coming to an end... (Played much more after the Elite 4) But was surprised that I clocked in over 90 hours! And I still didn't catch the last two available legendary pokemon at this point... didn't do much of the contests... need more ribbons to go into some building... need to mine for more ores... need to farm berries for items... Want to beat the Elite 4 with a different group of pokemon... Its interesting how I just want more and more pokemon... BTW... who plays pokemon for the stories? thats just silly... Just as the journal tracks your actions... your experience makes the story... As for the bad.... They could have used all DS buttons function for mapping items to use on the fly... It would have been easier to fish, bike, or use radars on those unused buttons... Instead of only one button to swap manually... With all the pokemon available in the game... they could have had every area have a lot more new pokemon... Its frustrating to see the same pokemon in the wild over and over again.... It wouldn't have been any much more of an effort since all pokemon from past games are in here... BTW... as a suggestion... Make a Pokemon Tactics! That would really be awesome!
Lower prices? Well it wouldn't matter if there isn't anything to play... Besides... PS3 online play is not even near the 360... It would be a hard sell comparing the two at this point... Well I'm still in the late gen(PS2)... Apparently I'm waiting for a proper moment to buy a PS3 non-the-less... (I don't know why though? Why not a 360?) At least my PC is up to the task till then...
Bah... You never know the outcome until the release of all consoles... And wait about an year to see the buying trend of consumers... I remember the PSP and DS forum wars that was unproductive and a waste of time... Its a arguement between the fanboys... In the end its a software war not a hardware war... Please stop worthless comments of which hardware is superior... It doesn't matter... Anyways... I'm happy with my Sony PS2, Nintendo DS, and a PC with Microsoft Windows... I'm waiting at least till the end of next year when the dust settles...
I skipped important consoles after my NES... the next system I had was the PS2 (Well the GBA came a year earlier...) 1.I want to properly play FF tactics... wasn't worth it on the PC with an emulator... (I bought the game but it was near unplayable) 2.Elder Scrolls IV... I don't have money for a Xb360 or a good PC... But after tasting a bit in my cousins house... I want it!! (Too bad my PC probably can't play Morrowwind) 3. The Sims (I want to play it but my PC is incapable) 4. World of Warcraft (PC limitations) 5. Forza/Toca/Rallisport!! I own GT4... Enthusia... MC3... Burnout:R... NFS U 1/2... Even TXR Drift... (Beat TXR3) Why I don't have Toca is just unforgivable... (Forza/Ralli... no Xb) And games that I own and not play much... 1. Growlancer Generations... two games in one... semi-turnbased RPG... its a good choice but... After messing up a couple times to save some chick... (which is impossible without a guide) I've made it on my fourth try... thats a total of 44hrs wasted... I never went back after saving her... 2. Final Fantasy X... I can't stand turnbased games on consoles... (Handhelds I probably prefer it though) 3. Fatal Frame II... Well I like watching others play... 4. SXX:OT After SSX3 it probably was harder to top it... Wasn't as engaging... 5. Sword of Mana... My favorite Mana was the 3rd.. Why make a remake of the first when direct ports of 2 or 3 will suffice? Games you should play that I played... 1. Guitar Hero... Yes it costs more than other games... But its worth the price... 2. Shadow of Colossus/ICO... Great Great games 3. SSX3 works well on a hot summerday I'll tell you what... 4. Breath of Fire : Dragon Quarters... Minimalism never played out better... The ending was great too... 5. Ace Combat 5... Got me hooked... Can there be more intensidy in a game? Got 4 and Zero without question but 5 is still the best for the PS2..
