@Falzonn We don't know what an actual space battle is like, nor does that technology exist yet, or maybe it will never exist outside of fiction.


But to explain what the concepts of battle within the realm of fiction you turn to the source.


But to explain a theory based on EVE online combat would be boring as hell as its a load of number crunching with armor repair modules, shield boosters and min-maxing capacitor drain, lock on-ranges, ECM modules, and of course, the 10 minute delay to warp jumping with a titan class ship.

@ejlaipjeathh What happened in EVE was a battle; a single encounter which resulted in conflict.


A war is made up of several battles over an extended period of time.


The Russians may have lost 21 million to fighting, but it did not happen in a single battle.
