That just isn't fair on the Shenmue fans at all. Terribly sorry to hear Shenmue 3 won't conclude the story. Was going to give the series a go but now that I know it's dragging on indefinitely, don't think so.

Enjoying Greedfall at the moment, granted am only a few hours in. Loved Vampyr. Haven't picked up a Plague Tale just yet but will in the future. Let's hope these different games getting traction will make some of the heavy hitters explore new ideas/set up new franchises

Thank goodness they came to this conclusion. I think I deluded myself into thinking it wasn't happening and they'd sort it out. So glad they have cause think it would have been unbelievably annoying if they didn't. I love Spiderman and just want to follow a movie franchise that isn't terrible on Spiderman (don't care if it's Peter Parker, Miles Morales, Gwen Stacey or any other variant, they're all great in my books). Bring on more Spiderman films. Only shame was they didn't get to explore the parent still being alive storyline presented in the amazing Spider-Man.

@justthetip: thanks, yeah I tried the demo and enjoyed it. Recommend others try it too of they're unsure. It's good to know that you're a fan of that genre and are happy to play this take on it as you think it's fun too

Well I'm excited about this game. Have the collectors edition preordered and paid for. Naughty Dogs franchises have never let me down so far, it's what I enjoy. So excited to play as Ellie all grown up, glad Joel will be around at a point too. It's also great to see a lead character with LGBTQ visibility. It helps to show difference as normal too despite what the haters say.

Never even tried a souls game, probably because of the aesthetic. Was interested in this. Rather than being disappointed by how the combat sounds, am intrigued. Think I'll pick it up and give it a go anyway.

@thelostscribe: I'm convinced there will be another Fable. It's too big a franchise with too much potential for Microsoft to let lie. In the meantime Greedfall has some resonance in combat, customisation, choosing sides and exploration that with Fable to tide me over until then.
