It has been a long time since I posted something actually worth reading. This blog will be long and strong.. meh ?

Epic Movie

I like comedies. I like to laugh. I like parodies (Naked Gun, Scary Movie). In my opinion Scary Movie is one of the funniest movies ever made. The strength of the movies was just that it wasn't afraid to just take things to the limit. Now two of six writers of Scary Movie have come together to make their own movie (Actually they made a movie like a year ago called '' Date Movie ''. It was really sucky and had some really so not-funny jokes in it.) Epic Movie just can't do it... again. The problems start right at the beginning of the movie. There's a joke where a man is wounded on the ground and the woman is on that mans hand (didn't we see that on Scary Movie?). Now that woman needed a clue and the man just started dancing around from some reason ? Why should a dancing dead man ever be funny ? No one knows... The hole movie is filled with stupid music and dance acts (which is really annoying).
The most hurtful thing to me was to see Kal Pen in this movie. I got to admit - he was the only actor who really had the ability to actually ACT. He's really charming and cool. Weirdly enough there was also Jennifer Coolidge in this movie (She was in Joey also). She can do so much better.
Overall '' Epic Movie '' had some quality jokes (I'm gonna Drop you like K-fed) but these were overshadowed by the lack of originality and good actors to bring it to life.





Also I leveled my third character to level 20. (Elementalist/Necromancer, Dervish/Monk, Ranger/Monk). I'm enjoying it more then ever for some reason.. O.o

Also had a really easy week. There were 15 teachers sick this week so we had like 3 lessons every day. It was really relaxing after 2 of those deadly weeks to finally get home at 10.35 and just sleep, play videogames or just read a book. >_>

Yay! It's true. I'm growing a year older for the first time in history. Wooo! So yeah, anyone who wants to congratulate me should do it on the 11 th of February because obviously that's the day when i was born. ^_^

I'm dead beaten from the week. I went to my floor-ball practice 3 times, skiing 2 times, got home at 7 everyday, had 4 tests and woke up at 6.30 everyday. The only thing that kept me going was to make it to the weekend. Life is hell. I really don't have that much time to jump into your blogs. I'm sorry.

We also played in our school tournament of floor-ball on Wednesday. I go to the 7th grade so we were the youngest. We won the first game (which was about a month ago) against the 11 th grade 4:3 but against the 10 th we lost 7:3. The game was a bloodbath : D We fell and some of us got bruised. The 10 th grade didn't hold back on anything... unfortunately for us ^_*

Today i watched Christoper Nolan's movie '' The Prestige '' starring Christian Bale (Batman Begins) and Hugh Jackman (X-Men 3: The Last Stand). The movies was amazing. It basically told the story of two rival magicians who were competing against each other and showing up on each others shows and totally ruining it. The movie was beautiful, stylish and well told. I didn't quite understand the time line of the events but at the end i figured it all out. A little question for someone who has watched the movie. Who's side was Cutter on - Robert's or Alfred's. At the beginning he was working with Robert but in the end we saw him playing with Alfred's child...





I had a pretty rough week so I'm out for now to just relax, listen to music and play games... i got to study too... damn.

I had problem by finding great games for my Nintendo DS. The shop that i use is called - Electronics. Today i checked again and for my surprise, i found this. (1 dollar = 12 KR, Kroons) My birthday is a week away so i have a big arsenal to choose from. I'm thinking about Mario 64 DS because i love platformers. I also loved the original. I would like to see some DS owners recommending me some of these games. ; D

So i changed my e-mail the other day. But what i didn't know was - A)You have to confirm your user again, B) You'll login with the e-mail you inserted. God damnit i feel dumb. I lost so many blog-readings, friend requests etc. I'm trying desperately to regain the control over things ^_^

But in my life there hasn't been any changes. I went to the floorball practice, started skiing and mainly playing DS/PC.

I also watched 4 Kevin Smith movies - Chasing Amy, Clerks 2, Clerks, Mallrats (the order counts). Chasing amy really drew me in. With a good script, superior dialogue and terrific performances it's hard not to like it. I was amazed at Ben Affleck. Just to think how well this guy played out the Role of Holden really makes you wonder what has happened to his acting skills since then (or are those just crappy roles, i don't know).

So that's it. From now on, you'll see me in your blogs more often. ; D

2006 in the music.

2006 was the turning point in my music taste. I turned from hip-hpü and rap to electronic/instrumental hip-hop/drum and bass/ninja tune. It was weird but i just love the music. I now kinda hate rap and so on. It's pretty baaaaaaaad. ;D

To give you any clues about it I decided to think of the three albums that were the most memorable this year.

1. Amon Tobin - Foley Room


Let's just say that this is one of the most amazing things that happened to music... ever. Weirdly there isn't any album covers in google but that doesn't matter. The album is pure genius. Starting with tunes that are mysterious, dark and really frightening but awesome songs like Esthers (which was also used in the trailer), ending with cheerful and catchy tunes like Always. This is a quality album that everyone in remote interest of Amon Tobins music or any kind of electronic music in general should buy. My favourite album in the year 2006.


2. Madlib - Shades of Blue



He was the man that introduced me the world of instrumental hip-hop. The world of catchy beats. I like Shades of Blue just because I like it. I mostly listen to it when I really need to just CHILL ^^. Songs like Montara, Steppin' Into Tomorrow really create the mood for just chilling and relaxing. Try It. Other than that it's a wonderfully composed album that really shows what Madlib is capable of.

3. Röyksopp - Meldoy A.M.



I first heard Röyksopp from the radio ? Remember Me was the song I think. It really didn't caught my ear. About 2 weeks ago I was just surfin' on last.fm and i got on their artist page and listened to the 0.30 second preview of the song Eple and man was I surprised. It was an amazing piece of electronical art. It had the catchy sample behind it and overall i really loved the song. This lead me to buying the album and listening to it 3 times in a row. Other than that there are some tracks worth mentioning - Easy, Poor Leno and Röyksopp Night Out would be my choises.

Got mine yesterday the 24'th.



I finally got a DS Lite as i wanted. It's really awesome. I also got the game Nintendogs : Chihuahua & Friends. Also got the Nintendo bag to carry my DS with. And finally Half Life 2. it opens so many new games and it's awesome too.
