As the eBay/internet whore that I am, I spend a lot of time thinking about whether some games are worth it. I know I'm willing to pay the exuberant prices for games such as Paper Mario, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Banjoa Tooie, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and Panzer Dragoon Saga, though that's because I have to for half of those, but there are a new breed of retro rarity that have become greatly undesireable to me due to the whole download scene. For instance:
The original SNES Harvest Moon goes for well over £100 on eBay, but 800 points on the VC. I'm not the biggest fan of the series, so the download will do for me. Other games include Streets of Rage 3, Alien Soldier, any game on the Neo-Geo and import RPGs that soon going to come to the EU VC, like Super Mario RPG and (touch wood) Earthbound. I could get any of these games, but my lack of caring for either the import scene or painfully rare consoles or overrated disappointements means that I most definitely won't be paying more than £50 for a copy of Streets of Rage 3!
Good day to you!
P.S. I'm a little "annoyed" with eBay, 'cos I had to get a new account, 'cos my original one got hacked twice in one week. At least I could use my PayPal account.... god, that would have been a nightmare to set up.
