It's a rally game.
Not an arcade driving game.
I think it makes a lot of sense to have a time-trial based system. I'm looking forward to it.

Just out of interest. When did you buy your xbox and when was it manufactured? I'm getting my first xbox 360 tomorrow and having serious doubts with this extreme amount of failures.
My very first xbox 360 is arriving tomorrow morning.
Does anyone know if MS have made any statements regarding improving the qualityof the xbox since this extreme amount of failures?
I just paid 300 odd pounds on something, and if it means I have to risk sending it back and forwards like crazy because of incompetent hardware then I'm just not going to bother. Send it back if you will.
So.. does anyone know? Am I likely to have a fresh doorstop next couple of months? Or have they made an effort to improve it? Please get back to me on this
Yep.
To be honest it is games like WoW (which require an insane amounts of hours played to feel that actual progress is being made) that can affect your social life to any extent.
However most people realise this is happening and therefore play less / stop playing.
If this guy feels like to much time is spent on videogames only, then fair play to him - bring on the guitar.
Also I'm not sure if people that don't have a high level WoW character could understand the point of his post properly.
I'm going to abandon videogaming totally, instead I'm going to spend all my free time to play the guitar!
For me videogaming has been a big part of my life, but it's just so unimportant and it doesn't give you anything in return. It doesn't matter how good you are on playing Counter-Strike or what level your character have in WoW. Videogaming just eats time that you never going to get back! Reading books, playing music and write has so much more rewards then what videogames gives you in return.
To stop to play videogames is like coming out of the darkness
This is just my thoughts on that.

Good luck to you.
Yes, it can take up a lot of time - especially WoW. I played that game myself but have decided to stop for a while. Not deleted my character or anything.
If you can; you could still have a bash on the consoles with your friends, but spend spare time on playing guitar instead of levelling multiple characters to 70 on WoW is a very good decision.
:)
My account has not been banned. But what happens nxt if i get suspended again? Will it go to a month or a year?HoovenStyle
Considered dropping the I-get-off-at-behaving-like-a-naughty-school-boy attitude?
I doubt many people are stupid enough to get suspended repeatedly.
Maybe you can let us know when you find out.
I'm in the UK so don't know how much it is over here but I'll look into it as the year goes by.
Extended warranty sounds reasonable as long as the price is right.
waste of money
my **** 360 just got the red light of doom 1 year to the day of buying
and guess **** what the **** warrenty wont cover it
have fun with your possible 4 months of fun
Syntih
Sorry to hear about your bad luck.
Hopefully I won't have the same problems (pretty small %).
Also I think the chances are quite high of my console being manufactured after some of these problems being ironed out (January 07 is it?).
For anyone that cares; I just bought an Xbox360 premium with HD VGA cable + extra controller, Gears of War, Tom Clancy Vegas and Crackdown.
Let the gaming begin!
I grew up with nintendo and love the franchises. I will probably get a Wii when smash brothers, mp3 and mario galaxy gets released. For now I'll play on my brothers'.
In case anyone wondered about my name.
For now, I got some serious gaming to do on my soon-to-arrive xbox.
Cya on live. :D
