Long story short I borrowed The Division from my brother. I put the disc in and it started installing the game. However, after installing it I can't boot up the game because it stops after a few seconds, saying something along the lines of "Cannot start application. Make sure the disc is not damaged or dirty". I have cleaned the disc and it works fine on my brother's PS4. I've tried reinstalling 3 times, tried the rest mode trick, as well as updating the PS4 from the safe mode screen. The only thing I have left to try is the rebuild database option. I should also mention that my other games on disc work fine. I'm going ahead with the rebuild database, but I thought I'd gather some alternative solutions while I was on it.

Have you tried using umbra to go back to Lucis, then going back to present time?

Metal Gear. First game to focus on avoiding action instead of seeking it, creating the stealth genre.

@chad_devore: You failed to mention if you meant them being skippable overall or just first playthrough. For subsequent playthrough they should ABSOLUTELY be skippable. I can't imagine replaying MGS4, having to watch 9 hours of cutscenes all over. For first playthrough? I don't know. There are many reasons why you shouldn't be able to, but I'd still keep as an option, tbh. You have these rare cases of people losing save files, rebuying the game on another platform etc. If people decide to intentionally ruin the game for themselves by skipping the story, it's their own fault.

@DuskStrider: Only characters in your combat unit can be used for deployments, afaik.

@GTA_MGS_1: Didn't find it to be dumbed down in any way. I thought it was harder, but in a more realistic way. Enemies have far more better vision/hearing, which is combined with the open world element, forcing you to be very aware of your surroundings as well as your actions. The stealth in MGS5 (based on GZ, of course) is so much more dynamic than in any other entry in the series, in my opinion..

PS4 is around 670 dollars in Norway, I think?

Thanks to all. Great help :) I think you guys might have found the problem. So far, all my steam games have been running fine. I probably just need to make sure it switches to the 650 when I launch non-steam games. Thanks! :D
