When the Wii was announced I was of the opinion that I totally wasn't going to waste my money on it after the fiasco that was the Gamecube & the N64.

Two consoles of which I maybe bought 2 games each and had absoloutly no interest towards any of the other stuff released for it.

But no, due to peer pressure I got a Wii pretty much on it's release date over here in the EU. 3 Months later, only played maybe 8 hours of Zelda and got bored of Sports after a few go's (realising there's really little skill involved).

It's therefore my opinion that you really can't get any enjoyment out of the Wii unless you are a casual gamer. One who either can't afford or manage the controls of it's superiors games (which seem to get ported down) or those who play games for 10 minute 'rushes' and just want something to do when a friend comes over.

Not to mention, Nintendo's release schedule for full games over here is totally whack. Both on the Wii & The DS. One of the games I wanted was Trauma Centre and that still hasn't even been awarded a release schedule yet, I don't hold much hope for Cooking Mama on either system too.

Thankyou Nintendo for totally wasting my time again. I hope you enjoy making games for 9 year olds and the elderly who'll die of 'Heeley' related accidents or old age before you can persuade them to buy your latest pile of crap.
