the first mafia game was published in 2002,days that computer games wasn't too HOT,by illusion and it was completely a revolutionary game at his own time.and it started a revolution in the sandbox (openworld)games.after a year rockstar published his first GRAND THEFT AUTO in 2003 and it was fantastic too..although R* published 4 GTA until 2008 and the last one ((GTA IV))was a masterpiece but in the other hand illusion announced the Mafia II in 2007..and it delayed many times until publishing..

Lots of gamers compare GTA & MAFIA games together because both of them were sandbox and openworld but 2k wanted to escape from the shadow of GTA and made some differences to make a unique game..

STORY
The story of game absorb anyone to his side..the story in the mafia I&II is the advantage that mafia heavily rely on it..and thr other important thing about story is that all of the characters has very deep personality that make from them a real and blieveable characters.the most of the story is narrated by very absorbing cutcsene.
SUMMARY OF STORY
the main characters in the game are VITO & JOE that are friend of each other.Vito's family migrate from Sicily to EMPIRE BAY in east coast of America to escape from their poor life.but things did not goes well.Vito met with Joe when they where kids.and started some small criminal when they where both young but Vito cached and he was sent to jail.in 1943 so he was sent to war too..
but when he returned everything was changed and i dont want to spoil any more....
as u see the story of game is really fantastic.

GRAPHIC

the graphic of the game is totally excellent and most of the texture in game is incredible detailed.the graphic engine of game is illusion engine that helped 2k alot in this .the game support Physx and has a incredible destructible enviroment almost 90% of the things that Vito cover behind them are destructible..also the game support Apex that make clothe movements really nice and blieveable.the other thing that is really nice is very very nice detailed character's face..but there are some problem in this case in the game like bad reflection in the mirror not high detailed citizens and some other small problem..

GAMEPLAY
I think the only part that is not very complete is this part..although the game is openworld but there isn't enough things to do in the game for example you can buy clothes but there are about only7 type of clothes or you can buy ammo but you dont need them because you can collect ammo from the dead enemies..
but don't forget the cover and shooting system of the game is really nice and enjoyable and the Physx of game help this system a lot..MAFIA II has made driving in 1940s and 1950s really fun..
you can sense the heavy body of those 1940s car when you want to turn aside. the handbrake has too fun too.although Mafia II has foolish cops but they obey some new elements like bribing,fining you,and....also there are some playb*y magazine in the game that are collectibles.

SOUND & MUSIC

this part of the game is incredibly good even the sites that give 4/10 the game believe that this part is very good..voice actors of Mafia done very fantastic specialy the Henry and Vito's voice actors.there are lots of licensed tracks from 1940 1950s that most of the are rock n roll..there are 3 radio station in the game.that each of them has special tracks and programs.the sound of city,cars,gun are pretty good.


MAFIA II is a great game that I think the gamers should taste it..
