Ok so I just got back from my local GameStop. I just got Zelda Phantom Hourglass for the DS, which I've been wanting to get but have been so busy with my 360 to care about my DS or my Wii. I've just barely started my game, so I can't comment yet, but I hope that the reviews are right and it is as amazing as everybody says.
Anyway, at GameStop, there was this old lady who didn't have a clue what to get her 14 year old son for his birthday. She picked up Zelda Twilight Princess and looked at it and said, "the point of the game is to kill people? that's too violent!" And the funny part was the 14 year old has Halo 3, andan XB360, not a Wii or a GC. I knew this because she was in the store with the kid's younger sister who surprisingly knewa littlesomething about games. The grandma also didn't understand the concept of a "game" and thought that the only thing that she could buy was the accessories on the wall. She's like "Do you think he has one of these "controller" thingies?" So she finally decided to get him a gift card when the little girl insisted.
Other than that GameStop also had Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii. I played the first level, and it's awesome. I'm definitely getting either SMG, Mass Effect, or Assassin's Creed (only have the money for one).
Now for the many things that have happened in my gaming world...
CoD 4 has landed! I'm not so sure I'm going to get it just yet, considering I already have CoD 2 and Halo 3 to satisfy my FPS hunger. I played the beta and rly liked it, so I will get it eventually.
All of my 360 games have been fun. Not much to say there. I got Viva Pinata and CoD 2, and despite the look, Viva Pinata is awesome. I already knew CoD 2 would be good, since I've always been a fan of the CoD series.
