I must say you are wrong sir. Microsofdt bought a huge amount of apples stock so the company could stay in business. For all intents and purposes they are rivals however if Apple went under Microsoft would be split for having a monopoly. So they are paying apple to stay as their compeditor. They do not hold the controlling shares to be the owner.
