Assassins Creed: I never thought it would become so huge after the first game

When Assassins Creed first came out , I was very much excited about the franchisee. But after playing few hours into the game I was totally disappointed and I didn't finish the game. Eventually I sold the game!

Later I bought PS3 and subscribed to Gamefly. I rented out AC2 and though it was highly favoured by many websites I was cautious. And the game did justify the high ratings. Although it wasn't perfect as it should be, it was far better than the first edition.

And now I'm hooked up to the series completely. I finished AC:Brotherhood and already half way in AC Revelations.

I really don't remember which game improved so much in terms of game play, story, visual - in every department after the first game failed to capture my attention.

Uncharted now fully charted | what next?

I have posted in my last blog that I have at least 10 untouched games to play in my PlayStation 3. That was in 13th Feb and it's 26th Feb and I'm really satisfied to say that I've finished three of them.

Uncharted 1, 2 and 3 are now completed. Oh yes, those were completed but I have not done with those yet. I have completed for the story and game play but I didn't get 100% treasures so I'll play those again. But at least I can strike them out from my unfinished games list.

Let's see which games I need to finish in near future.

  1. Batman : Arkham Asylum
  2. Batman : Arkham City
  3. Kingdom of Amalur : Reckoning
  4. Dragon Age Origins : Ultimate Edition
  5. Dragon Age Origins 2
  6. Assassins Creed 2 Revelations

I am playing ES5 : Skyrim at slow pace but I know it gonna take long time to finish it, so I rather keep that game out of this list. I am kind of inclined towards AC Revelations as my next game. What do you suggest my friends?

Games To Play in Coming Months

After buying PS3, I was awefully busy with it. But when I started to count the number of unplayed games in my collection, I found I am lagging behind the schedule.

I haven't played some of the big games of recent times.

  1. Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim (Currently Playing)
  2. Uncharted : Drakes Fortune
  3. Uncharted 2 : Among Thieves
  4. Uncharted 3 : Drakes Deception
  5. Assassins Creed 2 Revelations
  6. Batman : Arkham Asylum
  7. Batman : Arkham City
  8. Kingdom of Amalur : Reckoning
  9. Dragon Age Origins : Ultimate Edition
  10. Dark Souls

Hopefully I'll complete these by summer of 2012.

It's cold weather here at New Jersey. The winter here is far different than in India but enjoying the cool February weather, atleast trying to. :D

See you later guys. Take care.

PS3: I'm loving it

I have been a PC gamer since the begining of my gaming life. I have lots PC games in CD/DVDs and with 100+ games in Steam and Gog library, I never played a console game in my life.

But recently I bought brand new PS3 Infamous 2 bundle. Since then I never played any of my PC game. Surely, I am currently in US and my gaming PC isn't with me, but I have a fairly powerful laptop to play plenty of Steam/Gog games. Still I didn't feel to touch PC games for the time being. Playing games in big LCD screen with wireless controller in my hand - it's an awesome experience.

I still love playing PC games but PS3 really a class hardware to play games. No doubt high-end PC is miles ahead of any console but console has high appeal for gamers.

Currently playing: Assassins Creed II and Heavy Rain in PS3.

Blah! No time for games for me for the next few months as I will not have my gaming desktop with me! Time to buy a handheld??

Recently Played - Everyday Genius: SquareLogic

You must have to have love for math, if you want to get full fun from this beautiful puzzle game. This ain't a complex game but it's complex enough to make yourself addictive to it and glued to the screen. Lot's of puzzles are to be solved in this game.

Player will see that this game has nice touch of nature while progressing through it. The game is divided into regions - based on nature like, ocean, sky etc. Each region has multiple sub-regions which has plenty of puzzles to solve. More than thousands of puzzles are there for you to be solved. Each puzzle has some pre-defined par steps under which you must solve that puzzle. I don't think any average IQ person will find it difficult to match that par steps.

Not all puzzles are same - difficulty levels will also rise as you progress but I didn't find that any puzzles are really that much challenging.

If you fear math? Then also you'll find this game beautiful time pass. Go get it.Love sudoku or math based puzzles? You won't be disappointed by this game.

I give this game 8 out of 10.

Recently Played : Angry Birds

Recently I installed Angry Birds in my HTC Desire S. It was awesome if I don't exaggerate. Level designes were well balanced - not too hard or not too bland. Plenty of levels were provided in the game to keep a player engaged for a long time.

Since, it came in many platforms, casual gamers must play this game on their choosen platform.

I've also played Angry Birds: Rio and Seasons which reached the same height of the original game. This game is solid and never crashed in my mobile. Try it out and you won't find it bland.

Film Review : 'Source Code' - Best movie since Inception

Recently I went to watch 'Source Code' in my neighborhood multiplex. I liked it a lot. It's nothing exceptional but still it gave me full value for my money.

It's not just another typical Sci-Fi Action-Thriller. I found that the movie has some mixture of 'Avtaar' and 'Inception' and it's well directed. It'll keep you on your seat till the ending. The story is good and some great acting from Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga and Jeffrey Wright made the film worthy to watch.

It's probably the best sci-fi/thriller I've seen since Inception. I can easily give it a 7 out of 10.

Gadget Review : HTC Desire S - Awestruck!

Recently bought HTC Desire S. This is my second Android phone after Motorola Milestone. Android rocks! But HTC sense is purely brilliant.

I'm awestruck! My Vodafone data connection is still giving me some trouble regarding net but this phone is surely the champion of Androids at this moment.
