I'd rather buy an American console and contribute to our ailing economy rather than sending loads of dosh off to some foreign corporation.

Yes, I just bought GTAIV complete edition and Civilization IV Complete edition on this year's sale. I already had GTAIV (without episodes) and Civ IV (without expansions) in retail dvd. So I gave those away to my friends/cousins. :D

Get Boxed copy, after 3 years if you want to sell the game ... you can't do that with Steam-copy.

The only special thing about MW2 is 'this is the costliest game of the pc gaming history' - so don't buy it. Since you're an RPG player, get Dragon Age Origins, much much value for money than MW2.

first of all, I didn't say that I gonna pirate the game. But I admit, my statement was some what misleading, sorry for that. for the matter of fact: "I boycott all the games those don't give me choice of DRM schemes to use like few games do". Example: The SIms 3 use simple DVD checks - Great! Football Manager 2010 - I can use either Steam or DVD-check. I just love it! I simply don't buy those games (yeah! I didn't buy MW2)

I like Steam but it shouldn't be needed for any non-Valve game.thusaha
He is the only sensible person in this thread. hats off to you! I will not buy MW2 from Steam and will not use it for playing it!

It depends what you meant by EE contents. Not all of them are available to Vanilla version. Because they are in the EE package only like, the story book, official strategy guide, the map, the making of TW DVD and 2 music CDs. You can get the game content (as a patch) and 2 new missions from the website though.

it's good game and definitely a better game since you got it free.
