Most likely its the xbox fans that got ps4's that are temped to get an xb1 for exclusives that they would miss. Since they have both consoles, they might not have as much money left, or don't want to spend much on a second console when they already have a console to play multiplats on. So by dropping the xb1's price, it encourages them to buy a second console.

@Morphine_OD @Stevo_the_gamer Forza 5 is still an enjoyable game with 200 cars, all tuneable and paintable with 18 real-world tracks that are actually good?

Looks like DriveClub is the Destiny of racing games.
