But everything I've said here stands. When it comes to my gaming time, (which is the one thing that is really just for me), then I don't want to get bogged down in crusades.

If a dev or publisher is doing something I don't like, then I vote with my dollars by not buying their product. But that's as far as it goes. I'm not at all worried about how others might feel about it.

If that makes me an asshole, then I totally own that.

I do tons of outreach work IRL. I work for a not for profit HMO, I've coordinated fundraisers for St. Judes Children's Hospitals, volunteered at helping to improve group homes, and have also served at soup kitchens on Thansgiving.

So YES, when it comes to videogames, it's the one thing I am absolutely selfish about. I'm not interested in ttrying to be righteous, or fighting some stupid cause regarding character exclusivity. I just want to enjoy my time with my games, and I really don't care what a bunch of random people who don't know me think.
