Yeah stalking, looking, peeking at photos on social media all of that is bad, it just doesn't allow you to move on. I know it happens though and I believe a lot of people act tougher than they are and don't admit they've done so. I'm often told that my voice sounds like a teenager (I'm 43). Of course as you say I don't hear it that way. As far as what you see in a mirror, obviously you'll see it in a different angle or light. You also know all of your imperfections so the ones you feel scream out at people they don't even notice most of the time.

Small town America, everyone knows your name, gas lit laps in the median down the Main Street. Very touristy, people come by the bus loads to see the leaves in the Autumn. Quaint is what we get referred to a lot.

I'm glad things weren't worse than they could have been. I usually get the split ring for my tags anyways as they are easier to put on. I don't leave collars on 24/7 either, only when they go for a walk. Otherwise we have a penned in back yard for them to go out.
