im not too sure bout how to use tversity, can you tell me how to do the refresh?

ive got my ps2 linked to my pc via the media server system on the console. when i go into the pc through the ps3, it is still displaying icons for pictures that are not on my computer anymore. when i select the icon it says the file is unable for sharing or summin and then the icon chagnes to corrupted data.

even though the files are no longer on my pc, how do i stop them from coming up in the ps3 menu as though they are there?

with other eletrical items that use battery power, if you continously recharge them whn not in use and never let the battery flattern, then this lowers the battery lifespan. ive just bought the pelican charger dock, and was wondering if i was to plug my controllers into the dock everytime i finish playing the ps3, will the battery lifespan of the controllers be affected in the same way?

i cant download update 2.40. all my mates have it and whnever i go to system update it says i have the latest software, 2.36.

i can sign into playstation network and can even play games such as call of duty 4 online and it doesnt ask for an update. does any1 know how to solve this, or where else i can download the update as the menu gives the option to update from storage media, ie memory stick drive.
