Since we have basically the same computer, I can answer the Crysis question. It'll work pretty nicely up to medium specs at the most, but anything more will result in choppy gameplay. Try downloading the trial version and see how it runs.
I know the system requirements haven't been revealed yet for the upcoming PC version of Assassin's Creed, but do you think my computer can handle it? To give some perspective, I can play the original Halo on max settings smoothly and Crysis on lowest settings smoothly. Would it be more graphics intensive than Crysis? Here are my specs:
