what's up with the generally low framerates!? The game seems to have been poorly optimized for the PC :(

Virtually there is little difference between the consoles that should be ignored. I don't see why gamespot compares the graphics since it only serves to make gamers think there really is a big deal of a difference when there isn't. As a result the fan boy conflict gets worse.

@ M0zart. May be your right, but I really noticed it in the "select" character menu pariticularly. But still a great game.

Did you notice that Mario kart Wii uses THE EXACT SAME character models from double dash!

To expenisve, and not very interesting. I think this generation is the most upsetting one with little improvements on PS3 and XBOX360
