Less than 2 weeks... Dude, Are you sure they sent back your original console and not a "refurbished" (aka. previously RROD'd) console with a different serial number. Microsoft has been notorious for sending back a totally different console.

Don't be afraid of buying an xbox 360. Most of us who have experienced the Red Rings of Death (RROD) have the 90nm chip set. All of the newer 360s should be running the 65nm Falcon CPU chip which runs a lot cooler. The reason people are having to send their consoles in time and again for repairs has to do with Microsoft not replacing RROD units with consoles that have the new chip set. Instead they just slap a bigger heat sink on the CPU and send it back to you. Or they send a reburished unit that doesn't have the Falcon core on it. When your friends say they have had reapeating problem syou need to be asking what their date of purchase was and/or date of manufacture listed on the unit is. Anything purchased or manufacturer before late summer into fall of last year (2007) likley has the old chip.

So far there are few super annoying little kids that cuss more than drunken sailors playing. But come christmas time or a couple weeks from now when they have saved enough allowance money to buy the game we will all be overrun and driven right into covenant hell. Stupid kids are just like the Unggoy grunts because there is so much satifaction in shooting themwhen they are clustered togetheron a multiplayer map.

Unlike Halo 2 I have yet to fully explore all the features of Halo3 which includes the multiplayer mute feature. Too bad mute is one feature I could do with ever using. Live it up while you can boys!
