@dominicwow: I'm a huge BF fan, but say what you will about CoD, but at least it knows what it is and it does it well. It's beyond obvious that EA was wanting 2042 to be a hybrid of a hero shooter, BR, and extraction shooter and then a month before release they were like "I guess we need to throw Conquest in there, just get it done." Such a jumbled mess.
I'm sorry, but what? People just ripped their Gamecube discs out?! It even clicked in when you put a game in. Why on Earth would you not expect some kind of release mechanism? I always pushed the middle button to eject a game.
@thecupidstunts: I'd love a new SSX. I played SSX 3 and the 2012 reboot, which was fine, but I want wacky characters and over the top physics. That's what the previous entires fun. I'll also take a Downhill Domination while we're at it.
@Keaze_: Have you tried ignoring articles/posts that include Ryan's name (like this one) and just moving on with your life? It's worth a shot at this point since you're letting it affect you so much that you feel the need to comment about how much dislike him.
If I decide to pick this game up, it'll be in several years for 10 bucks on sale alongside my 4080 (whenever that comes out). There's so many devs/games to support instead that release finished/polished games at launch. I get that it wasn't the devs decision, but I can't support this "release now, fix later" mentality that has plagued this industry for so long.
While this issue might be in the minority, this is why I never get the new consoles when they come out. There's always issues with launch consoles. It was super easy this time because there's hardly and Series X/PS5 exclusive games that interest me enough to drop $600 on them.
