To the people saying how we're pro-blizzard because we dislike the game, it's really not the case.

Let's forget about story, content, overall cohesion of the game for a second. Squeenix REALLY needs to take some lessons on Human User Interface Design. The game can have an awesome story, be rich in content for all types of players and therefore deliver an immersive experience - but if the UI sucks, it really makes playing the game a chore.

Is it necessary to have to browse through menus just to open up your inventory? Why are different in-game functions nested behind multiple layers of menus? What was the rationale behind the cumbersome minimap - not only has it got a terrible refresh rate, but lacks basic functions such as zooming in?

Really, as gamers we might be content with what was given to us back in FFXI, but the genre as a whole has evolved. Consider that we would be spending hours upon hours (and then some) with our online avatars, MMOs in general NEED to be functionally efficient.

I can say with all honestly I couldn't care less if we see another Halo on the PC. I wasn't particularly impressed with either Halo 1 or 2 (never even finished 2 it got so boring). This is the thing that really annoys me about stuff like "Halo Reach coming to the PC possibly" I am a PC gamer I want to play PC games. If I wanted to play a console game like Halo Reach then I would go and buy myself a console.

honestly, I don't understand this sorta mentality. It's not as if it's mutually-exclusive in that we are either having "PC Games" or console ports. FYI, we can have both and we've been having both. Honestly I'll take my chances and say lets get Halo Reach on the PC and then decide whether its good or bad. Besides, console game or not, competition in an FPS is so much more intense within the PC community because of the superior controls. I'm actually stoked to see the newer Halos played in a mouse/keyboard combo.

you're supposed to be able to force battle.net to display the US version. There should be a location setting at the bottom of the screen? After then you should be able to correctly activate your product.

Turn off the onboard souncard drivers if you haven't done so yet, it helped me fix my problems. (Had to grab an external sound card too, so since you already have your Auzentech...)

actually, enclave patrols are hostile regardless of your status (being a recruit, or not).

An easy way out would be to travel east in the world map, till you are out of the shoreline before you start travelling southwards towards the Military Base.

It's a detour, but it saves you from getting your ass kicked.

You do have a car don't you?
