God of War 3

God of War 1 and 2 are awesome, but it looks as if GoW3 is going to take over. Possibly one of the best hack and slash games of all time, God of War 3 delivers not only great gameplay and great graphics, but is actually one of the only games out there to support a 1080p resolution. One more thing, musicwise: DREAM THEATER will be composing the original score for GoW3. Dream Theater is an awesome progressive metal band that will totally be capable of making the pefect soundtrack for GoW3!
Battlefield Bad Company 2

Battlefield Bad Company was a great game. But what is better than great sequel to another great game? Almost Nothing, except for prequels. I have the PS3 beta(currently the only platform the beta is availible for ;)), and I can just say, that it is amazing. The only real problem is there are some major physics bugs, including one that can stop you from successfully escaping after you have destroyed a base, or more importantly, when you gotta go in there to disarm the charges. But it's a beta. Anyways, EA has a forum where beta players can provide feedback, which more beta publishers should be doing. One more great thing about this game: nearly all of the enviorment is destructible. Fences in the way? Just slash em' with your knife! 8)
ModNation Racers
Developer: United Front Games
Publisher: Sony Computer Entertainment
After LittleBigPlanet, Sony was probably thinking "Geez, why didn't we think of this before? All we gotta do is make more games that enable user-generated content!" A year later, this treasure was found. ModNation Racers is obviously a racing game, that is usually called a mix between LittleBigPlanet and Mario Kart, but better!(angels come down to sing hallelujah) Not only can you fully customize your character and kart, much in favor of LBP's customization features, but you create your own tracks, which looks very easy and fun! Luckily, i'm getting the beta code for this game along with LBP GotY edition! :D This is definitly something to look forward to!
MAG

MAG is probably going to be awesome, because when I played the beta, it was very awesome and fun to play. I'm sure this was a problem on my part, but I was expieriencing a little lag, but as I said, a problem on my part. For those who are too lazy to google MAG(shame on you), MAG is a multiplayer only game, but the 256 player cap makes up for it. Sadly, the beta code isn't going to be handed out to the public with a limited number, because Sony decided to e-mail random PSN users the code, although it already spread all over forums and blogs. Even more unfortunatly, the beta itself has been discontinued. On the bright side, MAG's release is only a month away. (:

You got it right, my top 5 best Metallica songs of all time. Now a little note, the list is only composed of ORIGINAL(yes the caps were required), not covers like Am I Evil, or Stone Cold Crazy. So don't start complaining that "OMGSH YOU DIDENT PUHT TEH RITE SAWNGZ BLARGH".

Fuel is such an awesome song, and as James Hetfield said at a hockey game gig, the song is filled with an adrenaline pump that gives you an awesome rush, especially when your on the road or watching Nascar a.k.a Competitive Traffic.
#4 - The Shortest Straw
Album: ...And Justice For All
When you hear the intro, you should know this song, even if you've only heard it once in your lifetime. The whole band workedtogether greatly on this song, because in the intro verse, the whole damn thing, they were all sync'd together and it created multiple melodies that sounded great.
#3 - Battery
Album: Master of Puppets
This simply had to be on the list, due to the fact that it's structure goes back to the roots of Metallica, pure thrash metal. It starts out acoustic, then turns heavy and distorted, much like Fight Fire With Fire. It then goes into a little bridge that transitions into a badass solo. Goes into another bridge that kicks even more ass. Then goes back to the normal song and uses the kickass bridge for an outro.
#2 - One
Album: ...And Justice For All
This song is very well balanced. Opens with a nice intro melody, and becomes a little more heavy as the drums enter, and then gets to a slow, but great heavy riff. Then comes the infamous "turret riff". The double kick makes it sound like a turret or automated gun of some sort. Goes into one of the best solos i've ever heard. It then closes with an outro with an awesome rhythm.

On, Black Friday, there was a new title update for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. It was a little thanksgiving treat for all owners of UC2.
It includes the following:
-Leaderboards, has Global and friend filters.
The categories are Money, Competitive Kills, Co-op High Scores, both for Objective and Arena.
-A new map. It's The Fort, a map that bares resemblance to The Fortress from Uncharted Drake's Fortune.
Then the in'game server update includes Double money for kills and medals
Ex: Captured is worth $1000, so it's $2000. The big benefit from this is $4000
And finally... Doughnut Drake and Doughnut Lazarvic, a new addition not availible in the store.
Overall, it's a pretty cool update. It adds a new map which opens up new gameplay opportunities with your friends and the world.

Here Are my top 5 favorite weapons in gaming of all time! Sorry, Fawkes, you don't count as a weapon. ):
NUMBER 5: FAL - Uncharted 2 Among Thieves
What's not to love? It has balanced power, above average ammo capacity(unless you get the co-op upgrade) and excellent accuracy(another upgradable). My only problem is that it is a burst fire weapon so it's not very good for close quarters combat.
NUMBER 4: Star - Super Mario Brothers
If a mushroom with the abilities of steroids and a flower the lets you spit/throw (never got that) fireballs wasn't good enough for you, the star will send you right into a state of mind where power and speed are the only two things that matter. However, the only bad thing is you get much more speed without holding the pesky B button down, so it's difficult to control where your gonna go next.
NUMBER 3: The Scatter Gun - Contra
Back in the 80's, you couldn't get the Internet because it wasn't around yet. So you would have a hard time getting cheats like the infamous Konami code. In Contra, the konami code would give you 30 lives, in a game so difficult, it is considered the sex of Contra. But if you couldn't get your hands on this code, there is another way to win... THE SCATTER GUN! It will save your ass countless times in many ways. What's not to love? How rare it is!
NUMBER 2: Gravity Hammer - Halo 3
Sure Halo 3 was a big letdown (well for me.) By the way, all Halo nerds, I touched a doorknob so don't start flaming me. But there were some upsides to it. Like the multiplayer, which now is pretty dead considering all the teabaggers and 5-year old douchebags. It has a lot of awesome weapons, but one rules them all. THE GRAVITY HAMMER!!! Very effective both in campaign and multiplayer, the hammer is awesome! Unlike the energy sword, it works from a distance, just not as powerful. This weapon gives the game a whole new expierience.
Number 1! - Farsight XR-20 - Perfect Dark
If you have ever seen Predator, you will love this weapon. If you are playing a deathmatch with your friends or some bots, and you see this, GRAB IT! It make look like a light blue sniper rifle thing, but it is an awesome death trap for your victims. More than the Laptop Gun's Sentry mode! It has a rail-gun effect, and the target detector. It has a scope thatGOES THROUGH WALLS WITH NO LIMITS! Now I can imagine this getting annoying, but luckily, it's hard to find. So it won't become too much of an annoyance. The scope works like Heat Seeking vision, X-ray vision, a night vision all combined into one godlike scope. This rifle is truly worthy of number 1 or any top 5 list of weapons in gaming.
