I'm running the game very smooth getting from 20-30+ fps with a 8500GT, for those running low end DX10 video cards like me i dont recommend using DX10, setting distance view to the lowest and a modest resolution of 1024x768, max everything else and youll get very good frame rates. My othere specs: 2GB RAM DDR2 800, and an athlon x2 5200+

To DryvBy2: vista isnt required to play the game, and the differences between DX9 and DX10 are really minimal, so the game at max in DX9 looks just like a 360 or better.

though the other GTA games are better in gameplay terms, i cant understand this nostalgic feeling when i play GTA III, which is by far my favorite.

yeah i have now winxp and win98 in different partitions, later i will have xp and vista, i think thats the best option, if you want to play some games in winxp and others in vista

I'm from Perú and if im not wrong the best video card here is the Geforce 6800, and i got a geforce fx 5200, im think y going to buy the geforce 6600 GT, its good
