Assassin's Creed is the best looking 360 game out there (in my opinion)

Probably the prettiest game i've seen on the 360. The motions of every characterare amazingly smooth. The controls take some getting used to, but after 5 hours, I had to force myself to stop playing (thats 5 hours of just exploring and doing the first assassination mission). It will be worth 60 dollars if you get into it and do all the submissions and side quests (finding flags, killing templars, etc.). I would say that if you like to be immersed in games then its a must have, but if you just want to do quick playthroughs then it wouldn't be worth your money. Overall, I think its the best video game I have ever played. To comment on the previous reviews, I dont understand several of their points. I haven't seen any framerate or jagged edge issues so far. The enemy AI is not abyssmally dumb. They will attack 8 on 1. The combat is not button mashing and requires some timing to pull of some extremely brutal moves. It appears to me that Ubisoft made a game that can and will appeal to the masses since the controls are easy enough to learn and you start off right away doing some amazing looking moves. Case and point, even my fiancee who usually hates my gaming habit took the controller from me while playing to give it a shot.

I've started playing Halo 2 and there are some extremely obnoxious jerks on there. How can I possibly compete against other people that have played thousands of games, when I've only played 100? Anyone else having this problem too?

I'm partial to Shadowrun myself. Its a fun FPS and I have trouble putting it down now that they've tweaked the matchmaking system.

So I was considering picking up Ninja Gaiden Black for the 360 cause I feel a need for a good action game ala God Of War. My question is if anyone knows how the game looks on the 360. I've been spoiled by Gears and Oblivion and even Shadowrun which all look nice and pretty. How does Ninja Gaiden Black look on the 360? Does it "upscale" well to a widescreen, HDTV ? Thanks in advance.

I just bought mine a few weeks ago and I'm loving it. The XBOX Live interface is very streamlined and easy to use. There are a bundle of demos that you can download to try out games beforehand. The games have a lot of replay value. For example, I burned through my PS2 games in a few hours. I've logged about 100 hours in Oblivion and still haven't scratched the surface of it. The console itself has worked perfectly for me thus far, although it is a little on the loud side. And as a final note, if you decide to get one and get on XBOX Live, it takes some time to get used to all the jerks on there. For the first two weeks I couldn't find anyone worth playing against (rampant teabagging and such) but it gets a lot better after you build up a solid friends list. I hear there's going to be a price drop this weekend, so if you pick one up feel free to hit me up! Gamertag: Bubarian1102

Okay, so i've never played Halo before on XBOX. Should I pickup Halo 2 BEFORE I try out Halo 3? Is it worth the $25.00 used at Gamestop?

There's bunches of demos for these games on Marketplace, so I would say to check out the demos too. They at least give a broad view of the games. Looks like DiRT may be a good one for you?

I'm guessing no demo since Jade said at the press conference that we can look forward to playing the game when it comes out in November...although at one point one of the developers on the Assassin's Creed website message boards mentioned a demo around July...
