Its been awile since I've made a blog so here goes:

On saturday night my friends and I entered a Counter Strike Source tournament, I wasnt really in the mood for it, but I went because i wanted to get my mind off things ( I'd rather not talk about the issue, but eddy should know....). My friend told me that i was running late, so I had a shower, had some 2 minute noodles, threw on my lucky underwear and dimmu borgir shirt and hurried to the event.

The cost of entry was $25, luckily i didnt spend that money on the day or else I would of let the team down :P There was a total of 5 teams ( each consisting of 4 members) in the competition. We made a quick on our team name and sat down to get some practise. The team was called 'GL' short for GodLike, and what can i say, we lived up to the name :P.

I tagged up, going under the name 'Nergal' for I was listening to a hell of alot of behemoth that day, so it only seemed right, then the games began :twisted:

The first map- Cuba, was a tricky one to get used to, it was very small and you had to pick up your guns on the floor, which made it hard because in order to get those guns u had to get into a warehouse where both teams meet. Dangerous stuff.......:P We won our first match quite easily, the one after that we had some trouble with, but we prevailed, we got smashed by one team, who were the winners of the last tournament, they were a shoe in for the win.

we played each team twice in the first round and our ratio was 8 wins to 1 loss, which i was very happy about. then the next round began.

we only played a few games on this map, but i have to say, we ruled hard at it. The map was Pool_reunion, it was a basic run out and shoot the hell out of the other team. we only had to play 2 matches on this map, but both times we won 7-0, absolute pwnage :P

it now hit the semifinals :shock:, the map- COBBLE!

the first team we played were the reining champs, and what can i say, they absolutely owned the crap out of, that was rather depressing :P but still, the game was not over.

If we lost another match we would be kicked from the competition, but at the time i was kinda happy if we came third, i mean our team has never played before together and i was just in it for the fun, who cares for money these days?

I dont know what happened, but in the next 2 games we pulled out something magic out of our arses, we played brilliantly. thus got us to the finals to have another shot at the champs, the time to kill was now!

Enter the final, the map- AZTEC!! ( from my previous cs playing i was good at this map and knew it well, i was prepared)

to win this game it was first to 13. The coin was flipped, and so it was we were Counter Terrorists first. we split in twos and hid at each bomb site. We defended each site rather well, overall we won 5-3, we then had a team change.

It was time for the evil to unleash, the terrorists were in charge! :twisted: I got my guerrilla and went to war!

I had to sound up myself, but we absolutely dominated them, there was one stage where we just ran to their start point and killed them from there, i felt almost bad for them in a way.

overall we won 13-3, but for me it wasnt about winning, it was about having a good time with my friends and trying to have some fun, thats all the really matters.

anyway we won the $50 and we got a our team [GL] on a plauqe, that was preety cool, photos were taken and it was a fun night.

Im now in a debate whether to buy new drum cymbals or get a guitar........

ok I have a problem I need some help with!!!

well one of the other reasons I havent been posting in a bit is because my computer crashed during the week :( yea it sucks!

so at the moment here i am putting all my music, games etc back on, but one thing ive noticed is that my toolbar and start bar in the bottom left corner has shrunk! its quite odd!! does anyone know how to get it to a regular size???
