so what is your point? are trying to point out how smart you are? addicting is in fact a word. it's a transitive verb. so seriously. shut up
Except an inanimate object, or an activity performed by a person cannot be used as a base for a transitive verb.
And no, i'm not attempting to underline my intelligence as I am actually lacking in that area significantly, i'm just pointing out how rediculous it is that Americans need to twist the meaning of a word into something that is nonsensical in order to shift blame from themselves toward the object/activity they have become addicted to.
It really grinds my gears when people spell the word "ridiculous" as "rediculous"
