1. Shipping Costs.
2. Games in the States are $60USD. Guess someone finally realized they were getting ripped off on game price due to the CAD. So they raised it $10CAD.
3. Companies could care less cause either way, someone is buying their games whether You are or not.
4. Its Inevitable that prices are going up. Hell, SNES games were like $20. N64 games were like $30, PS2/XBOX games were like $40-$50. PS3/360 are $60-$70. Garaunteed when the next gen consoles after the 360/PS3, games are gonna cost close to $100, like someone else already mentioned. Technology, Software, Labour are all slowly but surely rising in price. I mean what are we, as gamers that love games, going to do? not buy them? lol
[QUOTE="azntok"]omfg you guys, stop worrying that MGS will hit the 360, you can look it all up on goodle of what Hideo has said over and over again, MGS4 will never ever be ported onto the 360. I mean can you imagine the work to redo everything just to fit it all into like 6 DVDs?! and who the hell wants to play a 6 DVD game?! there are articles all over that have Hideo stating over and over that it wont ever happen, MGS4 is a dual BD thats a 50Gb game.420Token420
Never say never .. but also who gives a **** ..
And it would not take six discs .. maybe 3 at the most, but I would say 2 ..
serious?! you seriously thing it would take 2?! MS still uses regular DVDs and the max amount of space you can do up on a DVD is what.. like 9?! for a dual layerd DVD? and considering how a Dual BD is 50GB thats still 5 dual layered DVDs. unless they honestly want to downgrade the game THAT much
