Origin saying Steam's doing something bad? no surprises there, ea should stop being so contentious and keep their big bazoo shut. Edmund McMillen (of Team Meat) recently said they he's experienced first hand that the steam-sales work for increasing revenue in the big picture. So the dev's are making money and we get games as cheap as chips. win win.

Also a question and maybe topic suggestion: I noticed today you can pre-order the new Sim City from Jb-Hi-Fi and as far as i know the only details for a release date is sometime in 2013? (and their website randomly says 13-02-2014). Brothers in Arms: Furious Four's (a game I have a feeling won't ever be released..) website says they accept pre-orders too and they haven't even hinted to what year it will be released, and theres a bunch of others too. So do many people actually pre-order this early, does it work, and is pre-ordering this early a new thing or am I just behind?

Techland trailer was definately refreshing, I find myself rolling my eyes alot these days at all the common, shallow, over-dramatic and over-hyped trailers. But unfortunately I don't think it really showed anything going for the game.

Comapanies using sex to sell the product: I'd blame the people that buy into it, not the people selling it. If it moves the product of course a company will use it. 'Business Ethics' is an oxymoron.

The Game in Auburn was the size of a furniture store with lot's of empty space and barely had anyone in it. Every EB i've ever been in is the size of regular kitchen. Good example of the business strategies of each company.

With the Vita, I reckon the Playstation should make some deals with idie devs to port stuff like super meat boy, and torchlight over, entice indie devs to make more games with release fee deals, and start porting some old playstation classics over. I agree with Jess, the hardware is good, and I'd buy it if there was anything worth playing on it.

My main problem with origin is the lack of games and variety. Steam just has so much content I doubt origin will be able to match even with all the big titles they have or will have.
