hell i wish xbox live was free, but really whats so bad about paying $54.11(just bought one lol)for an xbox live gold card(13 months). I mean your paying just to play online, other then that everthing else you have access to, like the xbox live market. Lets see though they keep all demos free, have free pictures and themes as well as trailers and even from time to time they have betas, which have been free. The only thing you have to pay for is the movie rental,themes,pictures,downloable content(sometimes free). Now if your mad because they make you pay to rent a movie thenI guess blockbuster and all the other movie companies should be free. For the themes and pictures just don't buy them its that simple. The downloable content should cost money there adding on to your game, which wasn't possible on the old xbox. Its all about economics, your paying them to use there service(servers,content etc). you have to look at it from a business point of view and not a consumers. If they make it free there stupid, so IMO your wasting your time trying to get people to put "make xbox free" as there motto. Also considering everything, microsoft is very generous and you get great quality for what you pay for. Man who would thing that a 17 year old kid such as myself could actually learn something in school.

Wow its got to really suck that you might miss playing halo 3 for a while. Omg its the end of the world. Your even more sad if you stay home and skip school. Don't get me wrong, i'am a senior in high school and am 17.I can't wait for school to end its boring, but going to school is the most important thing or should be the most important thing in you life. No matter how much you would like master chief to pay your bills when you get older, its not gonna happen, only your job provided by your education will achieve that.
yea i live in america and i just had to buy a subscription card, so i went to bestbuy and they had $49.99cards for 13 months. my point see if you can find one cheaper.
oh i see on wikipedia it was saying how call of duty 4 beta will end on the 30th and now it has been updated to say that the level cap will be raised to 25 on the 28th, but the beta will still end on the 30th.
I have had a 360 since launch and have played both the wii and ps3. I can tell you this the wii is fun at first, but gets old quick, the games arn't that great and the graphics suck along with other issues. Now you have the ps3 which really lacks games and the gamesit hassuck with the exception of some. Also i remember everyone talking about the ps3 graphics being better then 360 and now look at them there pretty much the same. IMO I would get the 360 for games,graphics,great online service, as well as good customer support. The red ring of death happens a lot less then you think and with the extended warrenty provided by microsoft you don't have to worry. another thing its notloud at all, sure it might be louder then the xbox, but my computer is louder then it, so really its not that notice able. maybe i just have a quite 360 cause if people complain about theirs and it sounds like mine then there sad.
I don't know if anybody mentioned this, but i shall repeat it. does anybody know how to fix the " DOWNLOADING GAME SETTINGS" problem in the COD4 beta cause i have reset my 360, went back to the dashboardand its even been sitting with the message for like 20 mins now and won't go the away. If connection has to do with it i have a good connection so thats not the problem its something wrong with the beta, but other people are playing right now with no problems
well i don't know what to say. i mean if your only buying it for those two games then i would save your rmoney and use it for something else. now that aside i have a 360 and to be honest when i look at both systems graphics they look similar most of the time, but since e3 some games are looking pretty good on each platform. there is much more games on the 360 and from what i have seen the 360 has better games coming to it, including almost all if not amost of the big sports games like madden and any sport game you can name probably. in the end though if thats all you want to play go with a 360 its cheaper and you honestly don't need 60g or 80g. you can watch movies on both. you can play online in both, the only diffrence is xbox live costs $50, but has way more to offer then ps3, at least right now.
