Do some research before you say something completely false...Genesis and the musicians that make up the "golden years" lineup are among the most brilliant of all time. Listen to their music from 1971-1976...Then tell me they are the worst band ever. Sure, in the 80s, it was a different story; and I'm not even a fan of the songs mentioned earlier by the guy who started this thread (those are from the 80's pop bull**** stage). But even though they detracted from their roots it doesn't take away from their original efforts. A Genesis guitar hero game would be the most challenging game yet on all instruments, and if you don't believe me listen to their old music. And to whoever said their guitarist never did anything special...I believe you should also check out their golden years...Steve Hackett was the pioneer of employing tapping and sweep picking in modern electric guitar.. Give this page a glance.. http://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=1 Anyone who enjoys progressive music..Yes, Jethro Tull, Emerson Lake and Palmer....would be well advised.
1971-1975 Genesis. I saw this being suggested by someone else in another forum, and everyone tore him to shreds...Someone even ranked them among the worst bands of all time. Well before I get hounded as well, check out there early material before Phil Collins takes over and everything turns to **** (80s pop).. I would think it would make for the one of the most challenging guitar hero games for all instruments...super technical and amazing song structure and writing. Too bad they don't have a keyboard for the game... Anyone who likes Pink Floyd, Yes, King Crimson, or anything progressive would most likely get a kick out it...
