Dont give up on it!! I go to bed every night with my brain frazzled after a few hours online. If you go straight into a 40 player ffa deathmatch you will probably get shot evry 10 seconds! As others have said, start in the smaller games, play some ctf or meltdown, get a bluetooth and either join a clan or make sure you are in a squad that will help/cover you when the bullets start flying. Give it 3 or 4 weeks and you will be sniping from one side of Manchester to the other!
I can't seem to get mine to work. i have downloaded the software and i get all the graphics of the "folding" and the world spinning round but 0 units. Should i have entered something in the top 3 lines?
just make the address up! I think i used something like 1998 Hollywood Boulavarde and used 90210 as the zip code. it worked but it seems to take ages to download anything.
The only advantage us Europeans have is that we haven't had the game as long, and therefore the novelty value of the original maps hasn't worn off yet. I've only played Lexington twice and the Thames once! and I still play most nights! £4 for a couple of new maps is lrss than the taxi into town!
I've signed up and downloaded the software and i do get a lovely map of the world with lots of yellow dots, but no work units done? What haven't i done?
