The Rest of my Lists - Part 3 (Non-Nintendo Consoles)

Hi

Here is the third part of my series of blogs with gaming Top Lists. As I said before, these are simple versions of the lists I have planned to post since last year.

First, a link to the 2nd part, which has a link to the 1st part, which has links to the first four lists

And today I will post three more (Top 10 XBOX, XBOX360 and OTHERS). Now these may not be the best ones cause I moved to the HD consoles too late, but in my defense, I have the most interesting titles of each system (a shame I couldn't play some of them though, since my PS3 stopped working). Anyway...

My Top 10 XBOX Games:

#10. Spyro: A Hero's Tail Spyro: A Hero's Tail Boxshot
Reason: Fantastic platforming, that is all I remember of it.

#09. James Bond 007: NightFire James Bond 007: NightFire Boxshot
Reason: One of the very few good movie games, one of few FPSs I liked, great story, great graphics and decent multiplayer.

#08. Need for Speed Underground Need for Speed Underground Boxshot
Reason: Very realistic graphics with unmatched street racing gameplay for the time.

#07. FIFA 07 Soccer FIFA 07 Soccer Boxshot
Reason: I didn't like the controls as much as in the GC version, but it had more cool features and was the best sports game on XBOX.

#06. Halo: Combat Evolved Halo: Combat Evolved Boxshot
Reason: The only Halo title I really enjoyed. The gameplay was somehow groundbreaking, stunning graphics, responsive controls, awesome vehicles and good multiplayer.

#05. Crash Twinsanity Crash Twinsanity Boxshot
Reason: Insane platformer with diverse, fun and some really crazy levels.

#04. Ninja Gaiden Ninja Gaiden Boxshot
Reason: Despite the ridiculously hard difficulty, it has lots of quality from the amazing visual design to the epic story and characters, and very satisfying action.

#03. Burnout Revenge Burnout Revenge Boxshot
Reason: Not only is it one of the coolest looking and best designed XBOX games, but the multiplayer is a blast.

#02. Fable Fable Boxshot
Reason: Marvelous role-playing game with decent story and beautiful environments that contribute to the superb gameplay.

#01. SoulCalibur II SoulCalibur II Boxshot
Reason: Just like the GameCube one, it's outstanding in every aspect, featuring a variety of modes to play and well-developed characters, simple controls and addictive gameplay. You can read even more in my GameCube list, a few blogs ago

*Some games I still want to buy that could be in the list:
Burnout 1-3
Dead or Alive 3
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
Hitman series
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

My Top 10 XBOX360 Games:

#10. Super Street Fighter IV Super Street Fighter IV Boxshot
Reason: The most advanced SF game, sweet graphics, wonderful stages, fun game modes and a wide variety of characters and styIes. It doesn't beat SoulCalibur though.

#09. Need for Speed: Shift Need for Speed: Shift Boxshot
Reason: Competitive, realistic and enjoyable racing experience with several features not found in other games of its genre.

#08. Resident Evil 5 Resident Evil 5 Boxshot
Reason: A worthy successor to RE4, keeping the suspense and fine gameplay while adding bright visuals and other cool stuff.

#07. Braid Braid Boxshot
Reason: Because it is more awesome than many boxed games, it's cleverly designed and excels in story telling, making it one of the best puzzle/platformers ever.

#06. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Boxshot
Reason: Good animations, great sound, awesome controls, Ezio Auditore, Italy, online multiplayer...

#05. Mass Effect Mass Effect: Bring Down the Sky Boxshot
Reason: A futuristic space-themed RPG that is as cool as it sounds, featuring interesting characters, good-looking areas and overall extraordinary gameplay.

#04. SoulCalibur IV SoulCalibur IV Boxshot
Reason: It has most of what made SC2 so amazing, plus Yoda and other new content, and of course the graphics and sound rock.

#03. Dead Space Dead Space Boxshot
Reason: Up there with Resident Evil 4 as the best horror games (that I've played). It's just thrilling from beginning to end.

#02. Mass Effect 2 Mass Effect 2 Boxshot
Reason: See #5, but with better story, deeper and memorable in every way possible.

#01. Fable II Fable II Boxshot
Reason: If there is an action RPG I prefer over Mass Effect, it's Fable. I mean, the music, the story, stages, controls are so epic. It has a huge world to explore and tons of things to do, and the dog... =)

#10. ICO ICO Boxshot

#03. God of War God of War Boxshot
Reason: A pleasant surprise that became one of my favorite games ever, a masterpiece in action adventure, puzzles and mad combo attacks .

#02. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Boxshot
Reason: Not too far ahead of GoW, but it does stand out in every single aspect, the presentation is brilliant, characters and story resemble some of my favorite movies, controls are flawless, the levels are diverse and the game is exciting until the end.

#01. FIFA Soccer 10-12 FIFA Soccer 10 BoxshotFIFA Soccer 11 BoxshotFIFA Soccer 12 Boxshot
Reason: Well, I didn't want these to take my last two #1 spots so I put them together Each is basically an update of the last one, but EA always manages to make vast improvements and release the ultimate football game, there's too much replay value, visual and sound quality and a superb multiplayer experience, not to mention the detailed and well-researched stats.
