@lithus: You mean the obsolete PC that I can use to render, edit, and encode live video, can write and send email? Sorry, the X1X is a nice toy but that is all it is, a toy. My computer can do all sorts of things that your toy can't
@phili878: $19.90? That's a bit harsh but I think that a fair bargain would have been the original game with the first 2 expansions for $60. That would have been a good value, barely.
@Mogan: I'm not talking about Destiny 2, that looks pretty good. Hoping that they listen and aren't going to repeat the mistakes. Still, for me, it's "burnt once, twice shy" so I plan to rent first this time.
@Mogan: What I was trying to say tho was that if it had been released in the second or third year, it may never have done well enough to warrant the release of The Taken King (since the first 2 expansions were promised at launch) and this year it would have been buried by Horizon ZD and Nier Automata, at least that's my opinion.
@Mogan: "Sorry dude, like it or not, Destiny is a mainstream game with a big playerbase."
I never said it wasn't. I bought the game at launch with a season pass. I played the game for a year before walking away. It's not about what "I like or not", I would be thrilled to play the game that I was sold on before launch but that game does not exist. I just wonder how many of those people, like me, spent a ton of money hoping that the game would get better
@millionsedge: This was me too. I hated how the only way to get any story out of the game was to go onto their site and read the lore that you picked up ingame. The game had many flaws, I made the mistake of buying the season pass alongside the main game. Disappointment stacked upon disappointment :(
