there are more things involved in this kind of aquisition. board members and the ceo generally own 51%+ of the stake of their company. so apple will need to some how get a hold of those shares to make it work. hence why microsoft attempt at yahoo failed. and EA attempt at ubisoft failed. as long as the majority don't sell the take over will fail. second Nationalistically this is bombshell for japan. they are losing one of their biggest business to a foreign company. the govenment and people will go head hunting. either killing the brand or in the case of hostile takeover, attempt every legislative move to prevent the takeover

i know it didnt sell as much as the ds, but when i had my psp it was my most played console, over my 360 ps3 and wii. i played it everywhere i went and it had some awesome titles. i think people are too hard on it. 70 million sales is ALOT and a success in my book.

Simple flash back in the game cube era. Sony the invincible monstrocity, having entirely dethroned ninty twice in console market, announced a handheld. One bosting the playstation brand and high specs. In the time period it was considered to do what the playsation did to the N64 and gamecube, which is dominate. During the time Nintendo was scrambling for a device to counter the PSP, and they produced the DS a device that was entirely experimental, hence the DS moniker. This was fall back in case it failed they could save face and release the real "gameboy". things did not turn out that way. DS be came a monumental success and teh PSP languished to pretty bad levels in its early years. hence it failed to be what people thought it would be, the final nail for nintendo's coffin. DS has hit record levels in the handheld sales. PSP is currently doing better and has survived and produced money so only through hype was it failure as a product it was merely okay. Though the PSPGO was so much fail

went to comic-con and played the demo. It seemed like a combination of baldur's gate with some WOW combined as well. it felt like a return to form since the Kotor and back days. The dialog and back story of what i played is solid. voice acting is good. combat is WOW like with mana pool and abilities on a bar but the pause button is still there and still necessary to do strategies. the bad I noticed was the shoeing in the gore factor don't know why they they need it maybe to get the non rpg guys but really felt i don't know out of place. like when they placed marilyn manson music with the trailer when it is nothing like that from what i played. Day 1 purchase here.
