Lord of the Rings Resource Pack is based on The Lord of the Rings* trilogy (obviously). I realise that there are many other LOTR themed resource packs out here. What makes this one special? In this resource pack many of the block textures are taken directly from the movies. For example, the torch was taken from Aragorns hand in The Fellowhip of the Ring. There is more that I could say, but I will let the resource pack speak for itself.

Installation: Download and open the .zip file. Extract The Lord of the Rings 16×16 to your resource packs folder. Enjoy.

• Download the resource pack.
• Press start and type in %appdata%.
• Find and open your .minecraft folder.
• Locate to your resourcepacks folder.

The newest version of minecraft released today called the Minecrat 1.7.9 update. The 1.7.9 update is again just like the 1.7.7 & 1.7.8 updates which were basically put out for security issues and just so Mojang could keep pushing out updates!
