Are you sure it's not just because the game waits 'game days' between missions? They aren't back-to-back because they want to give you time to do side missions (zed hunts), scavenge, and do whatever else you would do in a zombie apocalypse. So basically like Mission 8 is Lily saying "Go get me tampons" and when you return Lily says, "Good, these tampons will last me five days." .......... Mission 9 starts the next day with Marcus asking for Condoms. Mission 10 starts four days after Mission 9, with Lily asking you to Reload her tampons, because there ain't shit going on. Day 4 - Mission 8. - Tampons Day 5 - Mission 9. - Condoms Day 6 - ... spare time Day 7 - ... spare time Day 8 - ... spare time Day 9 - Mission 10. - Tampons Reloaded

I just finished the game and the only survivor that died (besides Alan & the Pastor due to pre-determined black plague) was Ed who I didn't get the doctor for. Other than that, it's easy to keep your team alive as long as you have sufficient materials each time you quit.

#1 - I watched this YouTube video that shows how you can get the survivor with the Shark hoodie. a) If you die and lose all your PLAYABLE survivors, you will be given a new random PLAYABLE survivor to play as. One of them will eventually a guy with a Shark hoodie. b) that means the hoodie is not an item you can put over Marcus or any survivor's head. c) there is more than one survivor who wears a Shark hoodie. d) the more difficult way of going about getting "Fin" (one of the names for the shark hoodie guy) is that you can use Lilly to call out for survivors in your journal menu. It takes a long time to call each time, but that's the only way you can do it if you don't want to kill off your favorite survivors. You can also end up with non-hoodie survivors a lot. #2 - Keep eating snacks while running around to improve your cardio. Once you reach Cardio level 7, you can pick some pretty sweet abilities, like 'Marathon Runner', which lets you sprint while only draining 50% stamina. It's definitely better to have that sooner than later. #3 - Don't be shy with ammo. Sure you'll end up with a lot more Zombies coming after you, but the more you shoot the better you'll get at it, both in aiming and in stats, so maybe go on non-mission target practice when you have spare time. #4 - Once you get a mechanic and build a Complete Workshop, you will be able to repair cars that sit in your designated parking spaces. So don't feel bad about blowing up all the beaters, as long as you keep your Ford F-150's bling bling #5 - Characters that have the Power House ability. They can eventually take two zombies and smash their heads together like some kind of zombie grinder. With Marcus in my game, I can obliterate an entire horde that way when they all run at me. #6 - Always have Lilly look for construction Materials for you. Construction Materials are probably the the greatest necessity of the game, because you simply require it way more than medicine, food and ammunition. It will make your life easy if you make that the primary objective each time you start playing, to get it out of the way, and not have to worry about not having enough of it when you feel like quitting the game. #7 - How to kick a Feral Zombie's ass: I LOST 3 MAIN CHARACTERS TO THIS, FREAKIN RUN AWAY!!!!!!!!!!! Easily the greatest threat- I've killed a lot of Ferals, but it's usually not worth the challenge. My advice: Run away (unless you have at least one guy backing you up, and no zombies around. I was Marcus on a mission to save Ed, and we were swarmed by zombies during a fight with a Feral. Ed won't come back -_-, ). One time I ran into a Feral while I was playing with Maya, and immediately I aimed at it and unloaded all 6 bullets into the Feral blowing it's head off. I got lucky, but the point is, MAYBE rifles are good at taking a Feral's head off? If anyone has good hints on taking out a Feral or a Big Un, let us know! #8 - If you run into a stinky zombie, get out of the car. You will drain a lot of health and stamina, and the stink sticks on your car for a good half minute. #9 - If you have plenty of food, or plenty of any type of resource while finding some on a run- before you load it into a ruck sack, notice that you can also break resources open. So if you're low on pain killers but have like 30+ medicine resources- break it open and you'll probably get some items ya need. #10 - When I first started playing, for some reason I was saving heavy weapons for stronger characters. I've found that heavy weapons in weaker character's hands is better for getting zombies down on one knee, so that you can finish them off sooner. So yeah, if you're making the mistake I am, give weaker characters the heavier weapons at first. #11 - After you do missions where you have a bunch of survivors following you back to a location- utilize this posse to take care of infestations and Feral Zombies, or to just roll around town like a bunch of bad asses killing anything and everything. #12 - Although it may seem like you're under the pressure of the clock- the story for the most part will stay put until you carry out those specific missions, so that you can carry on with resource grabbing or saving survivors who need help. Remember, survivors that need help aren't always an immediate death sentence. Speaking by experience from my playthrough, a prompt would usually come up saying that they survived. This does not include "Ally In Trouble", I can't speak for those, because I'm usually good about going to those guys and getting them unstuck as soon as I can.

If you switch characters, it will save as soon as you turn into the other character. That's a good way to make sure you saved. I noticed when you quit game it also saves on the main menu, which doesn't make sense because when you select quit game, it says "are you sure? you will lose all unsaved progress" which doesn't make sense, because it saves on the main menu after you quit!

The resources requirements for your party to survive are not bad other than the resource "building materials". As far as ammo that you're able to personally use goes, you have plenty. Every survivor base has a ton of ammo in their supply caches that you can just take granted you have enough trade points. Those come so easy so long as you're playing casually.

I decided to play this game for the first time today, not knowing how long it was. I'm usually pressed for time but had the day off. I'd say I beat in about 5 hours, which feels good because I'm not sure when I would have been able to play again. I never thought I would like a short game, but this worked out well for me. Next stop: Rage. On a side note though, the game got me amped to defend my 'MERICA, and kind of wished it went on to let me go overseas to plant a bullet in the enemy leader's chest, like in Wolfenstein 3D.

Dang it's like you didn't even read the Original Poster's post. He says the problem lies not within the game, but the authenticator and issues with Games For Windows Live.

I have Minecraft for PC and Minecraft for 360. The 360 version ought to address these two issues first and foremost: #1) Monster/Animal lag when fighting/hunting. It's very hard to get on with the game when a creeper turns on it's lag switch and blows up when you've already exited it's hissing radius, because the creeper hasn't registered your distance yet. FUUUUUUUUUUUU- #2) Inventory screen when playing split screen is so incredibly small (I guess they wanted to retain the shape of the Inventory screen.) It should be restructured for every which way the screen splits, so that instead of filling 30% of the width or height of a horizontal 2 player split, it would fill maybe 70% at least? I know it may disrupt the placement of items in the inventory, but let's face it, it's not a point and click inventory, so items being wrapped around in your 'bag' differently when a player joins wouldn't be so bad a trade off. After those MUST fixes, what I want to see adapted from the PC version before all else is: #3) The current PC lighting/shading update (it's very bright like the oldskool Minecraft at the moment for 360) #4) The music to stop looping infinitely. Let us have a mixture of silence and music, so I don't have to turn it off completely, or get driven nuts by leaving it on. I love the music but jeebus it plays non stop and I swear it's not even the whole soundtrack from the PC version. #5) An option to turn on Classic Crafting. Although the new system is nice for crafting items quickly, I find that it's listed weird. The format should be simpler, if they were going for simple. I can't tell you how many people I've seen go without torches, because the default torch build is set to a charcoal torch. If they were ridding themselves of the classic crafting for 360, then why did they show the structure of classic crafting in the bottom left corner? The 360 craft screen should just be a screen full of item icons, and a small corner reserved for expressing material requirements. However all in all it's a great version of Minecraft I have enjoyed playing with buddies.

I'm just sayin this is about the Top Rated tab and not the Most Popular tab. But anyway, I understand they moved on... I just think Dark Souls was really over looked by the masses like he said... Oh well, to more iterations and sequels for us my bothers!!
