Why do all rappers, where conflict diamonds and drive bently's and where all white clothing?

Why do scream-o rock stars all wear crap loads of plastic bands on their wrists and dye their hair black and wear ironic t-shirts?

Why do all soft rock bands now wear thick frame glasses and try to pull off a sophisticated grunge look?

Why do pop stars.... well you get the picture, its a genre and a style for the genre.

Even if it does happen it won't be anywhere near chernobyl levels. It's completely possible that a meltdown could occur though considering that a partial one already has taken place.Ace6301

A meltdown is a meltdown. I think the scale of it will be comparable if not worse than Chernobyl because of the impact to the ocean, and since Japan is so small it would force large populations further south into already over crowded super dense areas.

If you look at the deadzone from Chernobyl, and put it over Japan, a meltdown would make a significant part of Japan completely uninhabitable for a looooooong time, plus the environmental impact to the ocean. Accidents of that magnitude are reasons to quickly rethink nuclear energy for an option.

before I get flammed I didn't realize there was a similar post on the next page lol, but the discussion still stands.

So, Ive been watching the news on the nuclear situation in Japan, and the way it sounds is things are becomming more desperate and dangerous with radiation levels continuing to rise. Also the people running the show on damage control are natorious for hiding/lying about events that have gone down at the plant for years.

I want to stay optomistic that the disaster will be contained but the state of the nuclear plant seems to be digressing....

What are your thoughts about it? Do you think we are looking at the next Chernobyl? What does this mean for Japan?

It was meh, I laughed hard though watching "The Situation" make a totall fool of himself.. Also it seemd Snoop Dogg was looking really annoyed by his presents.

Depends, Snake is a master marksman and could just sit and wait in one spot forever with a sniper rifle and pop Bruce Wayne during a board meeting or something.. If close quarters happened it would be super close but I still think Snake would come out ahead, just because Snakes record shows he gets his a$$ handed to him and against huge odds, comes out on top..
