Episode 11 - Gabriel Hound

In South Brooklyn, two men run from a dog that they cannot seem to kill. The dog kills them in a grisly manner. A man approaches Sister Kate and tells them that this animal has attacked the Jaylock and Bogart families, two powerful mafia families, in only three days. The survivors report a dog with glowing blues eyes. Sister Kate tells him that it's the Black Dog and that the Magdalan Order is already trying to track it down. In the car, Rosette and Chrno drive after the dog, who is pursuing another car full of mafia people. Rosette orders Chrno to take the wheel while she fires Sacreds into it. She believes she has missed every shot, but in reality, the dog is immune to them. Chrno takes a bad turn, sending Rosette flying off the car. She rolls to her feet, but Satella appears with her summoned knight and attacks the dog. The dog disappears and Chrno goes to call an ambulence for the wounded.

The next day, Sister Kate and Remington tell the other sisters that the creature Rosette was attacking is the Black Dog summoned by Bianca Winger. Winger gave up her life for the creature and is now seeking revenge on the mafia for the death of her fiance, Richard J. Smith. Smith was caught in crossfire between mafia. Remington explains that the Black Dog is a summation of negative emotions, like anger and fear. The Black Dog is also growing with each victim it feeds on.

Meanwhile, Satella meets with Don Gocci and agrees to protect him for more money. Back at the Order, Rosette is angered that they have been told to wait for the Black Dog to assume a definite shape before attacking. She is worried about the people being killed.

The Elder presents Rosette and Chrno with the Gabriel Hound, a super fast bike that will enable them to catch up to the Black Dog. However, he asks to be allowed to grope Rosette. She punches him and takes off with the bike with Chrno. She learns that the Gocci family was killed by the Black Dog and that other members of the Order have been setting up barriers to trap it.

Satella summons her Jewel Knight to attack the Black Dog. Instead of defeating it entirely, it creates two Black Dogs. Rosette rides up and shoots one of them. The other runs away. Rosette tells them that they're going after the Black Dog, but finds her bike has crashed into a wall. Satella is ready to give up, but Rosette tells her that no one deserves to die. She asks Satella about summoning another beast that is fast. Satella creates one and she and Rosette use it to drag the bike along the train rails. Rosette uses to turbo and speeds ahead of the Black Dog. She fires almost point-blank into it and it explodes. Rosette and Satella crawl out through a manhole. As Rosette watches Satella fly away on the back of another creature, Chrno finally comes out of the sewer. Rosette had forgotten him.
