wow i guess activision is lucky to have such loyal fans and consumers. "oh graphics isn't everything" "as long as the game is good" blah blah. i'm sorry but the poor game experience that COD offers does NOT make up for the extremely outdated graphics engine. the graphics provides for visuals, effects, environment, landscapes, the people, the feel, the details in the light, clothes, guns, etc. everything you see. when you play the game that runs on the same engine and everything looks the same for the last 5 games, i'd get bored of it to be honest. yes story and gameplay and all the other stuff is important. the thing is working on new graphics engine requires lots of work, math, programming, brainpower, etc. it also requires money, which the team has enough of after making a fortune off of the COD franchise. BUT if you leave the graphics issue aside and only work on story and making maps and such. it requires almost no effort and i shake my head whenever a COD game gets released because the developers half ass the games, sit back, and watch the money just rise and rise. they are lucky to have such fans and supporters because they make TONS of money on the sales for being lazy. yet they still choose to be stingy with all the money they make and choose to add small visual and lighting advancements. yes they need to step it up and make COD better as a whole and graphics is one of them along with everything else. they need to stop having too much fun and stop trying to see how many times they can recycle the game and how many millions of more money they can make. you guys can have fun on the COD bandwagon and fill activision's pockets, who are also laughing their asses off at you guys lol.
sorry to break it to you guys but activision is not putting much time or work into these projects at all. yes the graphics is not the only important part, but it is a huge factor in what makes the game. it takes a lot of brainpower and work, trial and error into making these engines. this is all together taken out by this team. they just spend the time on copying and pasting and making maps and new weapons and makin a story. there is SOME work involved, but they dont want to spend any more than that. but that doesnt worry them because they know people will buy whatever the hell they put out there. which is WHY they try to make as many of these games as possible to see how much money they can rake in. this of course exciting to them cuz they get an endless amount of cash coming in. their strategy is to try to make as much money with the most minimum effort being put in and see how long they can do this. "oh i dont care about the graphics, its all about the game!" you guys can keep saying that cuz thats exactly what the company wants you to say in front of everyone lol. and i dont understand cuz the gameplay is still very stale. it was fun in MW1, but i'd get boring after 5 of them back to back. really? activision is extremely lucky to have these kind of supporters. repeat the same formula for 10 more games and they still will get the support and the loads of cash coming in. that is some lazy crap lol
