@Mogan: Because facetious hyperbole is sometimes better than having to spell out why something is dumb.

I will buy this how I buy all episodic games: when it's done.

I'm a Hitman fan since way back. Obviously Blood Money is the high point but I liked Absolution too. There is absolutely no way I'm giving them a single dollar until the game is complete though. I don't like to wait for TV episodes, I'd rather binge watch at my own pace - why would I want to wait for video game episodes?

Like Peter, I find it hard to make Top 5's or Top 10's. Mostly because I consider it pretty pointless. I can tell you my favourite band that I'm listening to right now or my favourite game in the past year but trying to rank them is something that is always changing & therefore pretty arbitrary.

Many "Top X of All Time" lists are subject to the recency effect. For example Interstellar was a great film & probably found its place on a lot of those kinds of lists but if I look at Top 100 lists of more experienced critics, most of the movies on the list will have been made before I was born. There lies the difference between people who the "of all time" part seriously & just people who quite like to watch movies.

I have no problem with Top 10 lists at the end of every year but they just shouldn't be taken too seriously.

Why is it so hard to find the full show?

There are a bunch of links to all the cut down clips but I just want to watch the whole thing.

Explanation for her character will be "deeply & profoundly satisfying"... why do I hear echoes of Kojima talking about Quiet?

Also Star Wars is dumb. Nothing has ever been deep or profound in Star Wars. There are no explosions in space. It's a big, dumb space opera - just admit that it's mindless fun.

I hate to admit it but I started tearing up, reading this review at work. Maybe it's more the subject matter than any stunning writing but something really cut through to me.

Games like this show that the medium really can be art. I haven't played it yet but it's going on my list. I see a lot of people complaining that, "games should be fun". I disagree. Some movies are fun, others confront tough issues. Whether it's this game or a movie about someone suffering from a fatal disease, it's hard to make the decision to sit down for two hours, knowing that you're going to shed some tears & face some heart-wrenching content. I can absolutely understand why people might prefer to play a 'fun' game rather than this but I don't think that it should be disparaged because it dares to break from the norm.

@ps3gamer1234: The burnout & accelerate thing is pretty cool, I wonder if WD2 will have some self-driving cars to hack. Being able to hack every car is probably too much but if it's set in the near future then there should be at least a few driving around.

@esqueejy: Have to agree with pretty much all of that.

I think a high-up at Ubisoft recently compared Watch Dogs to the first Assassin's Creed, I think he's definitely right in terms of there not being enough mission variety. I really wanted more pay-off for following up on the whole underground slave trade thing but it was just more tailing missions identical to ones I'd done before. The graphical downgrade was a bit disappointing but I think it's main flaw was that it shied away from the darker gritty content that it teased when we first saw it. Still a great game though, I'm looking forward to a second one with a few lessons learned from the first.

@sev2010: Posting here is definitely the way to get head-hunted.
