There aren't even any decisions to make, I don't understand why you'd need a NG+.

Maybe if they re-work the enemies & make them a lot smarter or sprinkle some legendary weapons amongst the random guards, it could add some difficulty to balance out the player's sweet gear they've accumulated. The combat is the worst part of that game though, I wouldn't want to play again just for more challenge & there are no different possible story outcomes so it seems like an unnecessary feature.

@ukiyostudio: I think Landis literally wrote, "Dedicated to David Ayer" on the script so it's not surprising that it borrows from Training Day. I think it's an interesting world but there are better stories to be told within it. I think the point was to do a classic buddy cop movie in a wildly different setting but maybe in a sequel, we'll get a more original plot.

@ukiyostudio: It was funny watching cast & creators trying to describe it, "it's like LOTR meets Training Day". They're talking like it's something new but I guess not everyone knows what Shadowrun is.

Wildlands was surprisingly fun. I'm mostly a single player guy but I picked this up to play with some friends & ended up putting close to 100 hours in to complete the campaign. If you're into stealth games, it's actually a pretty satisfying gameplay loop.

That said, I've never touched the PvP & I wouldn't buy a loot crate even if they were 1c. The in-game store was already pretty bad but you could ignore it for the most part.

@JEF8484: G-Sync is the best.

HDMI 2.1 should be coming to TVs later this year, if they bring out a new revision of consoles with this standard, they could have variable framerate too.

@Xevac: All the big sites are pretty terrible for this. Unless it's super choppy, they don't mention performance at all. ACG on Youtube is pretty good for covering performance across all platforms.

In terms of "First make games run smooth THEN you can put in the grafics after", unfortunately that's just not how game development works. They create all the assets & put them in place & optimisation comes in last in the development cycle. On PC at least you can tweak settings to prioritise framerate or shiny visuals, depending on your system but even then, it requires some work on the dev's part.

Some of the collision on the monsters is a little distracting but overall it looks pretty good.

I look forward to playing this on PC, looks like a lot of fun.

@inebriantia: Judging from some of the "making of" videos, it seems like it was basically a fan made game. They had a lot of passion but not the skill or budget to pull it off. They were afraid to let the player make any truly important decisions or kill off any main characters. A whole new galaxy with only two new races & a fraction of the old ones. Sold as a stand alone story but had too many loose threads that will probably never be tied up.

They tried to make a AAA game & ended up with a AA one. With a lower expectation, a AA game might have been OK but that's not how they sold it. If they set more realistic goals & operated within their budget, we'd probably get better games.

@ericthegreat: Bitcoin is more of an investment than an actual currency. When any transaction cost $30, it makes it pretty useless for buying a meal or a pair of pants but it's a very effective investment if you're looking to make money over the long term.

I don't mine or own any cryptocurrency but I have friends who do. There are bubbles which will burst, like any investment market but cryptocurrency looks like it's here to stay.

@KaptenHaddock: I really hope they don't screw up Dragon Age like they did Mass Effect.

To be fair, Andromeda wasn't a terrible game but it was full of bugs & really lacking compared to the calibre expected of the series. If they're going to commit less budget & talent, they should go back to the CRPG style & just make a solid game with a smaller scope.
